Though the title of this episode is "The Energy Vampire", the Eco-Villains are seen more as characters from Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1818). Duke Nukem looks like the monster himself, particularly with the metal bolts to his neck. Dr. Blight resembles the monster's bride with her static-charged upward hairstyle. And after getting kicked in his rear end, Leadsuit has the hobbling walk like the scientist's assistant Igor.
