In this episode, Wheeler is reading a newspaper article from "The National Exaggerator" (A Pup Named Scooby Doo-type reference)
-
Goof: The future Captain Planet in this episode seems to be "older", having light-colored streaks in his hair. But the future Captain Planet seen in Future Shock looked the same as the present day C.P. with the exception of the blue-colored costume, and he was from a later future as he was teamed with the original Planeteers' descendants.
Also, the future Dr. Blight in A Good Bomb is Hard to Find wore a blue suit and had a new computer sidekick named Gal. The future Dr. Blight in this episode wears the same pink suit as the present Dr. Blight, and she still uses Mal.
-
Goof: Okey and Dokey, the blundering sidekicks first seen in "Whoo Gives a Hoot", don't look any older in the future.
-
Goof: Both Kwames are able to utilize their Earth ring powers even though they were used to form Captain Planet. Aren't they supposed to be powerless upon the superhero's arrival?
-
This is the third, and last episode of the series in which Planeteers are shrunken. This time though, it was only Wheeler and Linka. The previous episodes were No Small Problem (All the Planetters shrunk) and An Inside Job (All except Kwame).
-
Wheeler puts comedy in this story: he has to buy a new camera all the time.
-
Looten Plunder wins here.
-
Last appearances of Duke Nukem and Verminous Skumm.
-
Even though this was a dream episode, this is the VERY first time that Captain Planet became annoyed with the Planeteers (mostly Wheeler) and saving the Earth.
-
Even though this was just a dream episode, why didn't Duke Nukem and Captain Planet look older in Wheeler's Dream? Is it possible that age has no effect on radioactive monsters or beings who can only exist with the powers of five rings combined?
-
This is the second episode where the Planeteers are shrunken, but this time Kwame gets shrunk as well.
-
This story has a similar premise to season 1's Volcano's Wrath, where Sludge tries to fool everyone into thinking that he could shrink garbage, only in this episode, he succeeds (sort of).
-
Last appearance of Sly Sludge.
-
Goof: Just after the Planeteers escape the simulated world, Linka seems to be speaking with Gi's voice when she tells the parents that they have to stop their children from escalating their battle.
-
This is the last appearance of Zarm.
-
While Porkaloin is an avid conservationist in this episode, he was speculated to be a wasteful polluter in season 3's Hog Tide. However, there's no contradiction in this since it's explained that Porkaloin eventually regretted his polluting ways.
-
When the press arives duke nukems lips go of when he says something
-
Goof: Early in the episode, Linka gets a spider off Wheeler's back and then says "Spiders are very useful insects". It's kind of weird she would say this being a Planeteer and all, since anyone with basic knowledge of biology should know spiders are arachnids, not insects.
-
Goof: When the Planeteers summon Captain Planet, Kwame is missing his vest, and Gi her jacket. But at no time were they removed and sure enough, toward the end of the episode, they were back in place.
-
Near the end of the episode; as the Planeteers try to save Captain Planet, when Wheeler uses his "Fire" power, he is wearing and used the flamethrower that he had in the 2-part "Mission to Save Earth" episode and he was still wearing his ring.
