    • TRIVIA (4)

      • Major Matt "Hawk" Masterson is the first to wear a Power Suit. Apparently Dr Power planned for him to wear that particular Suit, since the Undersuit had oak leaves- the insignia of a Major- lightly marked on its collar.

      • We learn that the Suits protect their wearers from being digitized. Once activated, the Suits conform to the biological matrix of the wearer. After that, no one else can wear them without them being damaged.

      • The inscription on the bottom of Lord Dread's music box read:
"To Lyman Taggart On the occasion of his 40th birthday, You're not getting older, you're getting- well, older. All our best, Jon and Stuart Power."

      • We learn that it has been 15 years since the death of Dr Stuart Power and the emergence of Lyman Taggart's new persona Lord Dread.

    • QUOTES (5)

      • Dr Stuart Power: How many more innocent human lives are going to be wasted for your dream of a Machine Age? Thousands? Millions? Tens of millions?! And where does it stop?!
Lyman Taggart: (pointing a gun at him) I could burn you to the ground right now, Stuart.
Dr Stuart Power: Then you do it! Or don't you have the courage- is that it?! Is it easier to have those machines out there do the killing for you? Or is it possible there's still some little speck of humanity left in there that Overmind hasn't managed to erase?

      • Jonathan Power: Are you a bio-mech, limited intelligence? Or can you think, reason?
Soaron: Yes, I think. First there was darkness, but now I think all the time. I fight, and I think. I fly, and I think, and I listen to the voices and I find something in my program I do not understand. There is something in the dark!

      • Lyman Taggart: I've made breakthroughs here you can't even imagine.
Dr Stuart Power: (insultingly blase) Well, I'm sure it's all very fascinating.

      • Lyman Taggart: (to Dr Stuart Power) Too bad- now you'll have to be digitized, stored like all the rest. In spite of your insolence you will be given immortality, but some price must be paid.

      • Lord Dread: (upon seeing himself for the first time after the explosion) My face!
Soaron: It will strike dread into all who oppose the Will of the Machine!
        Lord Dread: Yes... Dread.

    • NOTES (2)

      • Chronologically speaking, this is the first appearance of Mentor. His program was executed by Dr Power in the final minute of the first episode of this story arc, but he never appeared in person. It's also the first appearance chronologically speaking of the Power Suits in action, though their existence was shown in the last episode.

      • Soaron's line about something in his programming that he cannot understand is a foreshadow that was to have been paid off later. Since the basic ideas for a 4 season series had already been laid down, at some point, Soaron was to have killed Dread. This was an instruction programmed into Soaron by the Overmind at his creation, seen in "A Summoning Of Thunder Part 1". Overmind had always intended to rid himself of the overly emotional Taggart. Since Lyman was not immediately murdered, Overmind must have had a reason to keep him alive. That reason and thus when and why Lord Dread was to be killed by Soaron was, of course, never revealed because of the cancellation of the series.
