A newly produced core reactor is being transported to the Manicougan Power Complex, which is near enough found near the Atlantic Seaboard of North America, which the Mysterons have announced that they will submit a "heavy blow to the prestige of the world."
While conducting security checks within the designated area, it becomes aware that a missing, off route Transporter 43, which has already inadvertently crashed over the edge of a demolished bridge, thanks to Captain Black's deliberate diversion of the planned route, is what the Mysterons are using to smuggle the reactor.
With the core reactor already being aerially ferried in a shipping helicopter, and with the controller at the Expo 2068 construction site looking down at the barrel of Captain Black's hand-gun, Spectrum are back to square one before they can investigate the reactor situation.
It becomes apparent however, that the copter's target is the Expo 2068 site, and evidence confirms that the thermal safety valve has been removed from the reactor, with a rapidly descending countdown already initiated, and when zero approaches, the reactor will impend a nuclear explosion.moreless

Scarlet was shown to have cut a hole near the bottom right corner of the crate, but the wide shots of the helicopter showed it much further up.

The only thing mentioned as a possible Mysteron target is the Manicougan Power Complex, so it seems odd that Captain Black had the reactor left hovering above the Expo 2068 tower.

As the SPV arrives at where the transporter pulled off the road, the slot in the roadway used to guide the model from underneath can clearly be seen.

The tyres of the transporter were different in the close up of it's back end than those seen in shots of the full truck.

After having being crushed by the nuclear reactor and blown up when the helicopter crashed, Captain Scarlet should have been blackened, charred and rather flat, but the extent of his injuries seems to amount to only a cut on his cheek.

A scene deleted from the script would have shown Scarlet and Blue collecting SPV 442 from a store managed by a Spectrum agent wearing a baseball cap and nightgown.

A line cut from the episode would have explained that the Mysteron threat to "deal a heavy blow to the prestige of the world" meant they intended to destroy the Expo 2068 tower. This would have avoided the confusion over the what the Mysteron target actually was.

Transporter 43 is a reuse of the model seen in "Big Ben Strikes Again". Also, the nuclear device it carries here is a modified version of the nuclear device it carried in that episode.
