The Score: Bensheba survives. Spectrum: 16 Mysterons: 4.
Mysteron Reconstructions: Jason Smith (rig fire/van crash).
Spectrum Losses: 1 SPV, 1 oil tank, 1 Rig 15. Scarlet is killed but recovers.
Collateral Damage: Jason's van is destroyed.
As Captain Black watches the situation through binoculars, the bright daylight shot clearly shows his pasty facial complexion but his hands look perfectly normal.
Colonel White orders a meeting of all Spectrum personnel, but only Captains Grey, Scarlet, Blue and Doctor Fawn show up.
Mysterons: This is the voice of the Mysterons. We know that you can hear us Earthmen. We have observed the pathetic attempts of Spectrum to combat us and we have decided to render them powerless. We intend to immobilize the whole of Spectrum.
This is the last episode produced to include Barry Gray's original end title music before it was replaced by the version by The Spectrum band.
The original script placed the Spectrum refinery at Bethsheba instead of Bensheba.
The Jason Smith puppet would appear in many episodes of this series as well as episodes of Joe 90 and The Secret Service.
