The Score: Half the Mysteron targets are destroyed. Draw. Spectrum: 25 Mysterons: 6.
Mysteron Reconstructions: None.

As the bomber skims the ocean, one of it's engine pods can be seen to break off and remain floating in the water, but in all later shots, it has been reattached.
As their bomber crashes, a shot from behind Blue and Ochre shows Ochre moving his head from side to side, but he was meant to have passed out a while ago.
The close up of Scarlet's hands pouring Champaign into a test tube show the tube filled nearly to the top, but in the shot of the puppet Scarlet holding the tube, there is barely anything in it.
According to dialogue, the last scenes of this episode are set on July 10th 2068, the exact same date on which "Winged Assassin" and "Treble Cross" are meant to be set.
Mysterons: This is the voice of the Mysterons. We know that you can hear us Earthmen. We intend to destroy the World Navy Complex at Atlantica. Atlantica will be annihilated.

This is one of only two episodes of the series in which all of the regular cast appear, although most don't have lines. This would happen again in "Attack On Cloudbase".
The music that Blue and Ochre listen to on the radio is called Dangerous Game, which was a major plot point in the Thunderbirds episode "The Cham Cham", which, coincidentally, also featured the aircraft Blue and Ochre are piloting.
The bomber aircraft used by Captain Blue and Ochre previously appeared as the ill-fated RTL-2 jet in "The Cham Cham" episode of Thunderbirds and, more recently, as a airliner in Captain Scarlet's "Place of the Angels".
The Maxwell Airbase building previously appeared as the Glenn Field Zero-X control center in the movie Thunderbirds Are Go.
