The Score: Base Concord survives. Spectrum: 13 Mysterons: 3.
Mysteron Reconstructions: Major Reeves (drowns/crashes plane).
Spectrum Losses: 1 Angel Interceptor.
Collateral Damage: 1 VGR, 1 jet.
Major Reeves normally has two gold stars on his uniform, but his Mysteron copy only has one when it appears for the first time.
As Reeves crashes his plane, Rhapsody can be seen using a handheld radio while in the cockpit of her Angel However, she was wearing a helmet, which comes with a radio built in. She even used it earlier.
During the chase with Reeves' jet, Melody wasn't wearing her flying goggles in one shot.
As Reeves' plane and the Angels enter a dive, the clouds also tip over indicating the camera has simply been tilted to simulate the dive.
Given the emergency on their hands and the impending destruction of the base, the procedure for trying destruct code words is extremely slow. It takes two people around 15 seconds for each word, when it should only take one person less than 5.
The rocket was programmed to attack it's own base by going straight up and straight down again, yet it launched and later attacked the base at an angle.
Major Reeves shot the rocket control station operator with Captain Scarlet's gun. The Mysteron Dr. Magnus in "Operation: Time" also aquired Scarlet's gun.
When Major Reeves shot the controller, his finger didn't press the trigger.
After being shot by Major Reeves, the dead controller keeps moving his head.
The radar map of Base Concord shows the base to be located in Japan.
Mysterons: This is the voice of the Mysterons. We know that you can hear us Earthmen. We are going to launch one of your own incendiary rockets and you will have no way of knowing it's target. We have not forgotten. We will continue our war of nerves.
(Captain Scarlet and Captain Blue have both disobeyed orders. Colonel White tells them to leave while he decides if he should court martial them) Lieutenant Green: Will they be court martialled sir? Colonel White: No, but another question like that, Lieutenant and you will be. They are brave men and Spectrum needs brave men in the continuing fight against the Mysterons.
Spectrum's Yellow Fox VIP tanker is seen evacuating Base Concord.
The orange radar screen that shows Japan would go on to appear in the UFO episode "Identified".
During the evacuation of Base Concord, a yellow tractor and trailer carrying a red rocket can be seen. The tractor section (painted red) appeared in the Thunderbirds episodes "Martian Invasion" and "The Duchess Assignment". The trailer carried the Martian Space Probe in "Day of Disaster".
