  • Clip show...

Yep, it's a clip show. Only 11 minutes of new scenes, which aren't great in of themselves, padded out with flashbacks to stuff we've already seen. While I don't hate this episode for being a clip show oe even being quite boring, I do hate it because this is also the Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons series finale. They ended this great series with a clip show. If only they had changed the epsiode order around a little and had Attack on Cloudbase as the finale. Even with it being a dream it would have been a more exciting way to end this awesome series.

This episode was merely an excuse to revisit past encounters with the Mysterons and so the series ended lamely, which is a great shame.

    NOTES:

Captains Blue and Scarlet seem to spend a lot of their personal time together during the series - gay subtext, unrequited love? Strings caught up?

The man with the syringe (laden with a truth drug) doesn't speak. Well, it would be weird if he were cracking jokes at the time...

The Mysterons were good at fooling Captain Blue into almost revealing the 'cipher codes' - whatever they were - until Scarlett showed up...
