An attack on Colonel White, the commander of Spectrum, ought to have been a little more exciting than this. As it is, the episode ended with a plain old shot out between Scarlet and the Mysteron, although White confusing the sumarine crew with talk of court martialling the apparently dead Scarlet were quite funny. Oddly though, White said he didn't want to risk other Spectrum lives or Cloudbase when the Mysterons attacked him, but he didn't seem to have any problem with endangering the lives of the submarine crew. That said, the arguing bwteen Scarlet and White over the destruction of the TVR-17 was nice and shows that not even our heroes agree with each other all the time and it was nice seeing Blue in charge of Cloudbase. Interestingly, Ed Bishop, who voices Blue, would go on to play a similarily commanding officer of a secret organization fighting aliens in UFO. This episode starts off well with the attack on Cloudbase, but ends quite poorly, which is a shame.
