  • A Toody misunderstanding is blown up into full blown chaos that reaches the governor's office.

    9.5
Hands down, one of the best offerings in this series. The brilliance of the basic premise is carried throughout the entire spisode and keeps building on it with hilarious results. While not a great Toody episode, it's a terrifc showcase for Al Lewis as Schnauzer. His reactions run the gamut from befuddlement to exasperation to the big blow up at the conclusion and it's a pure classic television gem. Lewis will always be remembered as Grandpa Munster, but his work on Car 54 is sadly underrated and largely unknown. If you're checking out an episode for the first time, try and make it this one!moreless
  • It's the biggest day in police force history and, from everyone in the precinct to the top levels of government, everyone knows it. Problem is - nobody knows why.

    9.9
Not only was this the funniest Car 54 episode of all time, this is one of the funniest TV sitcom episodes of all time. As the 8th person to rate this episode, all I can say is the 7 other people who rated this don't know funny like I know funny.
