I would have to pick Bill Rafferty for this one not because he also happens to be my grandfather's cousin.  But, I believe he was the best host because among all the hosts of Card Sharks he was the only one to give away a prize to the winner of the match before the money cards.

I am watching the Christmas Eve 2007 marathon and am struck again about how much I dislike Bob Eubanks. He makes fun of foreigners and folks with accents. I love Card Sharks, but not Eubanks. I suppose I like Jim Perry best.

I'd have to say Jim Perry. I like the theme best on that one too, although I like some of the rules they introduced on the Rafferty and Eubanks versions, specifically the push card in the Money Game. Always seemed unfair that the contestant would lose money when the next card was the same.
