What was wrong with Kero and Spinner Sun being voiced by men? Not that I like it or anything but i'm just wondering.

Kero's voiced by a guy in the Japanese version when assuming true form. When they're mascots they're voiced by the two sisters in Ah My Goddess (Kero=Skuld, Souppi=Urd).

I know that what I meant is "what was wrong with having them voiced by men when they were little?" not that I like it or anything.

Guys voicing mascots are fine. Heck, they even had Kero with a cigar in the first half of the Leave it to Kero segments.

It would be rather shocking if they went by the manga storyline on who Clow Reed became.

Actually, it was a pipe, not a cigar. Anyway, knowing Kero it was likely to have been just for show (as in empty).

The dub sucks. Whenever I try to watch it on Youtube, I always laugh. The people who voice the characters.. AHHHH!! They drive me insane.

    Heck, yeah!

    And it stinks, too.

I mean, how in the bad afterlife do you get "Madison Taylor" from "Tomoyo Daidoujii"!?!?!?!

AND they completely wrote out Touya and Yukito's relationship.

    4KidsTV are just a bunch a prudes!

    It's Nelvana, not 4Kids, but I'm guessing 4Kids would've done the same.

Since they're known for ruining anime, they would've done the same. Look what happened to Mew Mew Power: a Cardcaptors 2.0... same edits, same episode rearrangements (though they were aired in order), name changes, etc.

I'm not bothered by the dub actually, and if I'm actually missing too much, I can always watch the Spanish version of CCS or the CCS redub.

Except in the case of the Mew Mews, they didn't even get to finish.

    Animax Translation wrote:
Animax translation The anime television network, Animax, aired an uncensored English translation of the Cardcaptor Sakura series, entitled Cardcaptor Sakura, featuring their own English dubbing team, and staying faithful to the original, retaining all of the original names and dialogue, for broadcast across its English-language networks in Southeast Asia and South Asia.

In a nutshell, Animax probably saw how many complaints there were from many CC purists.
