It is Sakura's turn to battle Yue for the right to be Master of the Clow Cards. Sakura does not want to battle him since she is afraid that she will hurt Yukito. Yue takes her up onto Tokyo Tower and begins to attack her. She decides to run away until she can come up with a plan. Things are worse when she finds out that if she loses to Yue, everyone who had any association with the Clow Cards will forget all about it, and her! She tries to use the Wood Card, but since it is under the moon's jurisdiction, Yue turns in against her and begins to trap her in a mess of vines. She then has a dream of what it will be like if she loses. Will she be able to overcome the dream and beat Yue, or will everyone lose their memories?moreless

Easily the best episode of Cardcaptor Sakura I have seen. Sakura finally becomes the owner of the Clow Cards and new events take place.

"Perfect"

Many episodes in this series are great but I think this one is the most important. In the episode before, Sakura finally capturing the Earth Card sees the one who she adores, Yukito turning out to be Yue. This episode is the battle between the two to see if she deserves to be the owner of the Cards. If she loses she loses the one she loves. She is shown a glimpse of this when a Card backfires on her but with a second chance, saves her memories of those she loves and we see Sakura defeat Yue.moreless

- Sakura's Costume: Pink cape and hat, yellow sash.

- Sakura's sealing wand transforms into her own personal staff. It is still pink, but at the top is a pink circle with a yellow star in it with expandable wings on the side. Sakura's magic circle also changes. It no longer has the Sun in the middle and the Moon on its side, but it now has a Star in the middle with the Sun and Moon opposite each other on the sides.

- Beyond his role as The Judge, Yue was also a favored companion to Clow Reed. Although it is highly speculated by fans that Yue was in love with Clow Reed, there is no official proof of this fact. Such hints are limited to the manga. He is highly intelligent, stern, and usually cool and focused, although prone to fury when Clow or, later, Sakura is endangered.

- This marks the first appearance of Clow Reed, the creator of the Clow Cards. He makes an appearance in this episode just after Sakura has completed the Final Judgement, thus becoming the new mistress of the cards. Here, Clow explains the coincidences he had planned for Sakura, situations that would allow her to recapture all the Cards. He also advises Sakura to take care of her new power, the power that changed the original sealing wand into one that is completely Sakura's.
