In this episode Sakura and Tomoyo go to an ice skating place to learn how to skate with their classmates... everything is going fine (besides the fact that Sakura and Shaoran cannot skate, Meiling keeps getting cold, and Ms. Mizuki is acting suspicious). But, soon it is getting too cold and everyone is starting to freeze, except those with magical powers like Sakura, Shaoran, and Ms. Mizuki(although Sakura and Shaoran don't see her). It is definetly the work of a clow card. After some awesome team work Sakura and Shaoran manage to apprehend the card, and it becomes Shaorans. In the end it shows Shaoran blushing in Sakura's direction, which is strange... I wonder where it goes from there?
It all started when Li see's the street frozen.Which got Meilin curious but when he see's Sakura he runs off.Ms.Mizuki begin to take the class on an field trip to an ice skating rink.Altough Sakura can't skate so can't Li of course. So Sakura learns how to skate so does Li as well.Except he falls down again.Suddenly the temperture begin to drop. When Meilin stays on the ice as it begin to crack. When she didn't move she begin to froze her than everyone else turn frozen.Li and Sakura are the only ones unaffected relizing that this is caused by an clow card known as the freeze card. When the card tried to get Sakura.Li saved her. When Sakura captures the card.Li takes it since he was the one that stopped it.
Heh this is an start of Li liking Sakura more than he liked Yukito. If seen the first part when he run away when he saw Sakura hint of an blush.I support Sakura and Li together.
This is one of those many episodes where Sakura and her school go on a trip somewhere and a Card appears. I\'ve gotta say, the main reason why I loved this episode was because of Li.
Li is always showing off, trying to better Sakura at things to show her that he is the one who should be the CardCaptor. In this episode, he sees her fall on the ice, so he tries to skate, too. But alas, he falls as well. He gets angry with himself and keeps on skating.
However, when the Freeze Card turns everyone in the vicinity to ice, he skates right over to Sakura, knowing she normally freaks out when a Clow Card appears. And when Freeze is following Sakura around the rink, just when it is about to break through the ice and get her, Li grabs Sakura and they both slide across the ice (SQUEE!). He changes from competitor to savior, and that\'s what I admire.
When the Freeze Card throws Sakura over the ice and she starts to freeze over, Li is there trying to break the ice off her. He looks like he is extremely concerned for her well-being, and when she finally wakes up, he skates away to distract Freeze so Sakura can capture it. While Sakura is waiting for the right moment, Li skates around the rink, and he never falls down. This is his determination to make things right for Sakura so she can feel confident enough in her powers to capture Freeze. He never falls down.
Finally, when Sakura capture the Card and the Card goes to Li, and everyone turns back to normal, the two stand together, and Sakura thanks Li. Realizing that they are now back to competitors, that her safety isn\'t in danger anymore, he skates off, Meilin soon following. When Mizuki Sensei hands a plate of warm drinks to Sakura to give to the students, Li tunes out of the conversation he\'s having with Meilin and watches Sakura. And then he falls.
I like this episode more than most because while each episode has minor charactor development, this one has major character development for Li. In one episode, he goes from being a bit rude, to saving Sakura from peril, and even finding himself distracted by looking at her. I am a full Sakura/Syaoran shipper, both in Tsubasa Chronicle, and in Cardcaptor Sakura, but I don\'t rreally like the last few episodes (and the second movie) where Li loses all harshness and gets soft all the time. It\'s like he lost his personality. I like the episode where he is still a bit rude, but whenever Sakura does something, he makes a fool of himself. :P I love it!
