Episode Recap

Sakura sleeps in -- again. On the way to school Julian gives her a late birthday present, a watch. Although the cherry blossoms are out, Reedington seems almost buried in snow, and Sakura realizes this must be the work of a Clow Card. In the battle to capture the Snow Card, Sakura loses her beloved watch. Her anger gives her the confidence to use the powerful and dangerous Firey Card to aid in the Snow Card's capture. And her watch is mysteriously returned. (Contributor: Yami Bakura Fan)

Sakura experiences "the dream" again, causing her to wake up late. Kero is rather annoyed at her for not capturing any cards lately. He also reminds her it is the first day of her new semester. Sakura catches up to Tori on the way to school and they meet Julian. Julian gives Sakura a gift on their walk after Tori goes ahead to school. In class, they are to get a new teacher, Li doesn't care who it is. It turns out to be Miss Mackenzie, and Meilin expresses hers and Li's distrust in her. Sakura recognizes Miss Mackenzie from the dream again. The class goes outside and it begins to snow, which it is too early for. At her home, Sakura opens the gift from Julian and discovers it is a watch. Tori comes in and informs Sakura that there is at least 3 feet of snow outside, to Sakura's surprise. Sakura and Kero become anxious at the freak event being the work of a Clow Card, after their long wait. Out at the Penguin slide, Sakura, Kero, and Madison meet with Meilin and Li. Sakura tells them that it seems that Miss Mackenzie sensed the card before they all did, causing Li to distrust Miss Mackenzie more. The Snow Card comes back, quickly attacking them, following Sakura, Li, and Kero because of their magical powers. Flying away, the Snow Card follows quickly in pursuit, dropping more snow on the town as it travels. They get caught in the Snow Card's blizzard but manage to escape. Sakura discovers she has lost her watch, the gift from Julian, in Snow's attack. She uses the Firey against the Snow, making all the snow in the town melt and turn The Snow to its visible form, allowing Sakura to capture it. Sakura deals with the loss of the watch when Miss Mackenzie shows up, and gives the watch to Sakura, without questioning their costumes. Li remains suspicious of Miss Mackenzie while Sakura continues her belief that Miss Mackenzie is good. (Contributor: MirrorCard)

Sakura is having that dream again with the figure in shadows and the Clow Cards at the radio tower. (Please read previous episode summaries for more information on this dream) The screen turns black and we hear an alarm clock ringing. Sakura is sleeping; she finally wakes up and turns the alarm off after it falls down onto her bed. Kero is annoyed because Sakura hasn't caught any Clow Cards for a while now. He tells her that maybe it's because of her sleeping so long. Kero reminds Sakura that it's the start of the new semester and Sakura jumps out of bed to get dressed. Kero tells Sakura that if she keeps this up, Li will capture all the cards. Sakura complains that the reason she hasn't caught any cards lately was because there hasn't been any cards around to catch. Kero uses his powers to open the drawer and he brings out all the cards. He tells Sakura that it's like she under the spell of The Sleep card. (Flashback) The Sleep caused Madison to sleep and it tries to get Sakura, but she uses The Jump to get out of the way. The Sleep flies through a hallway and into another room. Sakura and Kero chase it, but as soon as Kero gets into the room, he gets affected by The Sleep. Sakura uses The Windy card to attack The Sleep. She quickly uses the sealing wand and seals The Sleep. (Back in Sakura's room) Kero tells Sakura that it would have been hard to sleep through The Wood card. Sakura claims that it was suppose to be a gentle card.(Flashback) The Wood starts to open Sakura's door and she tries to stop it from coming, but The Wood broke the door and tied Sakura and Kero up bringing it all the way downstairs as it's branches kept growing. The front door starts to open and Sakura is worried because she was afraid it was Tori or her father. It turned out to be Madison and she was able to help Kero and Sakura out of the branches. Sakura quickly turns the key into the sealing wand and seals The Wood. (Back in her room) Sakura finally realizes that she might be late for school and she rushes down the street on her rollerblades to catch up with Tori. When she caught up with him, she asked him why he didn't wait for her. He tells her it's his turn to set up the chemistry lab. They meet up with Julian, who doesn't have his bike because it's in the shop getting the tires fixed. Tori rides off because he's gonna be late and Julian walks with Sakura. On the way to school, Julian gives Sakura a present, or a late birthday present, and he tells her it sounds like something she needs. She tells him that she knows that she'll love it already. At school, Madison tells Sakura that she's just in time to meet the new teacher. She sees that Sakura has a present and Sakura tells her that it's a late birthday present. Li and Meilin come into the room and Sakura asks them if they know who the new teacher is. Li doesn't care and Meilin tells them it's because Li is so smart it doesn't matter who the teacher is. When the new teacher came in, they find out that it was the substitute math teacher last year, Miss Mackenzie. She greets the fifth graders and Li is shocked to see her. Meilin whispers to Madison that she and Li don't trust Miss Mackenzie. Sakura is pretty happy until she realized that Miss Mackenzie looks so much like the figure in her dream. Miss Mackenzie announced that since it's the first day, that they should go outside. After a couple of suggestions, she agreed with a nature walk and everyone runs outside. Miss Mackenzie looks at Sakura and tells her that it was a very unusually weather they were having. Sakura looks out the window and snow is falling on the ground. She is totally surprised because it was too early for snow to start falling. At home, Sakura is opening Julian's present and she can't believe it took her so long to remember her present. She opens it and she finds out that it was a watch. She couldn't wait to put it on and she promised herself that she'll never take it off. Outside, the snow if falling really hard. Tori gets home and tells Sakura to bring her a towel. When she does, she is shocked because Tori is covered in snow and he's totally wet. He tells her that snow outside is three feet deep and Sakura couldn't believe when she opened the door. Sakura is on the phone with Madison and she suddenly figures out that it's really a Clow Card. Sakura is using The Fly and she is searching for the Clow Card on her wand with Kero and Madison, who has her camcorder with her. They land on the giant penguin at the park and Sakura falls off, sinking into the snow. Kero lifts Sakura out of the snow (don't ask me how he does it) and they see Li and Meilin, who are standing right on top of the snow. Sakura greets them and asks why they weren't sinking into the snow. Meilin tells her that it's because of his superior powers. Li asks Sakura if she has tried The Float card and Kero tells him that they didn't need him telling them about Clow Cards.(Kero is annoyed) Inside The Float, Li just told Sakura that it was The Snow card and that he never sensed it. She tells him that she never sensed it and that she should have after talking with Miss Mackenzie and it was like she sensed something was going to happen. Kero asks Sakura if her teacher actually sensed the Clow Card and Li tells her that he told her that Miss Mackenzie wasn't who she seemed. Sakura argues that Miss Mackenzie was only trying to help her. Suddenly Li sees a tornado like blizzard and he warns the rest of the group of The Snow card. The blizzard hits them and stays with them even though they try to get away. Li tell Sakura to move away from Madison and Meilin. She uses The Fly to get away from The Snow, but it kept getting closer and closer to Li, Sakura and Kero. Li claims that they can't just keep running away and Kero tells them that if it keeps on like this, the whole city will be buried in snow. Li uses the element fire and attacks The Snow, but it doesn't work because it wasn't powerful enough. The blizzard attacks them and as soon as they escaped the blizzard, Li tells her to use The Firey, but Kero tells her that The Firey is too powerful. Sakura realizes that her new watch was gone and she gets really mad and decides to use The Firey card. She lands on a roof and releases The Firey and tells it to melt all of the snow. The Firey attacks the blizzard destroying it and it starts melting all the snow in the city. This caused The Snow card to return to its visible form and The Firey chases it toward Sakura. Kero tells Li that now they know what happens when Sakura gets mad. She quickly seals The Snow and Li tells her that it was a really great capture. Li tells her that he's sorry that she lost the watch and she tells him that she told herself that she would never take it off. Li sees Miss Mackenzie and she tells Sakura not to worry. She tells them that something was lost and that now it's being returned. She gives the watch to Sakura and Sakura asks her how she knew it was hers. Miss Mackenzie leaves and Li glares at her.
