Cardcaptors

ok its not really pivotal but its is the first episode with new character Meilin



basically theres a new character called Meilin she lived in Li hometown and used to play cardcaptors with him although she isnt a cardcaptor but wants to be (sound familiar lol)

she can fight but has no magical powers!!! she fancies Li and is soooo jealous of Sakura and tries to beat her in everything- gymnastics (kids aged 10 can do moves like that...hmmmmm)and fighting against "the fight card" Sakura obviously wins! she uses "the power card" to do so.

at the end Meilin is still jealous/hates Sakura and is obsessed with Li and Li just wants to get away from her lol

good episode and shows of things to come Li is no longer alone!!!

I love this episode the best because of a few reasons.



1. I can relate to what Sakura is feeling in this episode I went through it myself

2. Meilin just starts coming to the school and I love her

and

3. Last but not least awesome fight between Meilin and the fight card.



The fight between Meilin and the fight card is probably the best part of this episode, it was by far the best I've seen. I just started watching the show but even so. I also love how Meilin clings to Li the way she does, its really cute Overall great episode my favorite

Apparently Li had a girlfriend back home,one who scares him to death.



Sakura and Madsion see Li come in,but he seems miserble.Their teacher says they have a new student(Madsion-big year for transfers),and when she opens the door,Li freaks out.

most people just see a little girl with pig tails.She runs over to Li,upset.

.Thier teacher says she's Meilin Rae and is from Hong Kong like Li.

Sakura-hey Li,do u know her?

Meilin sees this and rushes over to block Li from her,easily jealous isn't she?

Meilin-listen very carefully,sweetheart,Back Right 0ff!

Sakura-huh?



Sakura doesn't get why Meilin hate her so much so soon.Meilin seem to be obessed with Li,and Li seems to be scared of her.Meilin thinks that Sakura is going to take Li,which leads to Meilin becoming VERY competitive with Sakura.



Later,while Sakura,Kero and Madsion look for a Clow Card,Meilin shows up.(Kero-what,don't tell me,ur Li's Girlfriend?)She acts as though she's just as much of a threat as Li,speacilly when she fights with the Fight Card.Fight is winning just as Li jumps out and kicks her in the water.Meilin is happy witht the resuce,but Li is furious with Meilin.

Meilin happy-Li!

Li-I tolf u not to come Meilin!

Meilin-but...my foot just slipped,

Kero-right,brat

Meilin-Brat?listen u spongebath-

Li-u stole my compass!

Meilin looks annoyed-0hh!i told Wei not to tell!

Kero-seems like Bratty has a problem with finding Cards.

Sakura-u mean?

Kero-yep,she has no powers.

Meilin-shut up!(Meilin gives Li his compass back)ok,so i asked Wei to help me,but he did'tknow how to use it either.

Li-Meilin,this is not a game!u don't belong here Meilin,now go home!

Li's compass lights up,whichs shows Fight coming out towards Meilin,Li blocks Meilin,but gets hurt.

Meilin gets upset with this,anrgered Meilin-u may be a Clow Card...

Li-Meilin!

Meilin-BUT I'M MEILN RAE!



Meilin fights with Fight but Keros says she isn't strong enough to fight Fight.Sakura decides to use Power to stop Fight.she does,Fight is knocked,turned into a Card,everyone happy,sept Meilin.

Meilin-not fair!not fair!why did she win!?

Sakura-but we all did,i just helped out a little and-

Meilin runs over to her,

Meilin-don't go there with me,Sakura,u may have won this time but we will BURY u!

points her finger to her,Sakura scared,Meilin wraps her arms around Li,who looks as miserble as this morning.



Madsion-Cardcapturing just got complcated,huh Kero?

Kero-more like a glitch,

Madsion-u call her a glitch?

Kero-i do,just a minor glitch.

This episode is so great because a new exchange student named Meilin Rae joins Sakura's class. Everytime Sakura gets nervous, she gives her a mean and nasty glare. During the night, she pretends to be a Cardcaptor by using the Lasin Board to help her out. She loses however as Sakura used the Power Card to capture it. She bickers a bit and gives her a nasty glare. Overall, I rate this episode a 100%! for excellent plot!
