Care Bears

This first pilot episode of the Care Bears shows just how deep and perceptive the concept of bears expressing their feelings is. From a psychological perspective, it sends some very important messages to children about expressing their feelings, and what happens when we repress our feelings and try to distance ourselves from it (repression as Freud would put it). There's always a price to be paid, and the young boy who is the focus of this episode learns it. But he also sees what happens when release all our repressed feelings out, as the care bears save the day by using the combined weight of each of their emotions.

This is the start of the Care Bears,and their caring mission,also the bear month award for the one that does the most caring mission ever.This is the start about an boy name Kevin,who doesn't want to move away.Even though his friend Donna told him it would be alright.Altough Friend Bear and Tenderheart Bear,can't stopped his parents from move.So Kevin decided that its best to run away.He than encounter Professor Cold Heart.He was turned to something.Now it is up to the Care Bears to saved the day.After stopping Professor Cold Heart.Kevin's parents promised to visit sometimes to see his friends.



I didn't see this episode.It was funny I recorded over it.Well the first part.This introduces Professor Cold Heart as the vilian most of the time and the cloud keeper who we see 1 or 2 episodes.

One of the better episodes, some nice songs and the original animation, I think is better than the newer style of the 1987+ seasons.



Of course, there are a few minor strange occurances but nothing serious, just a few little animation errors but that doesn't stop marr this great episode.



When the evil Professor Coldheart is first introduced he sings a typical 80s style intro song, but the difference is, its a great catchy song :)



The Care Bears, also sing various awesome songs through-out the episode, one of the songs I really like is just before the end credits....."If you just love-a-lot, share-a-lot, help-a-lot, Care-a-lot..."

This is the best episode in my opinion. I loved watching this when I was little and this was the first episode I ever saw. I still can remember the whole thing to this day! Professor Coldheart! I think they should definately bring this show and My Little Pony and He-Man back to air. Those were good shows! Now you have these shows like Tele-tubbies, Boo Bah...what is that!? I\'m buying Care Bears and My Little Pony DVD\'s for my little girl b/c I want her to know what REAL cartoons are all about! Bring it back! hehe
