  • Care Bears enact in a nursery rhymes tale -- good idea, too young in execution.

    5.0
Grams tells Hugs and Tugs a story in which Mother Nature (played by Grams) is kidnapped by the Witch of Winter (Shrieky, as insufferable as ever) and her henchman, Simple Simon (Beastly), and it's up to her children, Jack and Jill (Hugs and Tugs) to rescue her. Along the way they encounter Jack-Be-Nimble (Champ Bear), and Wee Willy Winkie (Bright Heart Raccoon) and help them recover both the former's candlestick, and the latter's watch, thanks to the help of a magic ring (which can grant three wishes) they acquire from Grumpy. At one point, Beastly masgurades as Little Bo Peep to capture the cubs. Borderline cutesy and too young, but it does provide an interesting change of pace. Overall, this episode is inoffensive but nowhere near good. It's a so-so episode, at best.moreless
