As I said before, this is my ranting. Let us start with the reason that they did not make an origin episode. It would make some sense of how C2 got created. I would expand the theme song into an episode. Which give me an idea for my next Fanfic. Next is shipping. I do not see many Sky/Carl movements. Other than those Fan fics. The Lorna/C2 shipping however is the best ever. You can tell Shipping is in effect in that episode with the bunnies. C2/Sky shipping is also good. So this makes a love triangle, C2/Sky/Lorna. Carl, get someone you have something in common with. Next we review on the one. No, i do not mean neo, i meant as in C2. C2 should be the focus of this show. He has got the ladies, he has got class, and he is a role model to kids. Would you want some lazy person who skateboards as a role model? I swear one of these days. People would notice C2 and BAM! 2 part a series finale. Until they pick it up again like they did with TMNT and He-man. In the end I would like to number the times Carl and C2 have been seen by mortal eyes(Except Jamie): 4.
Horrible. Stupid. Lame. Dumb. All the possible criticizing words you can think of... applies to this show. Teletoon needs to put a limit on cracky shows like this.
Honestly, this show doesnt deserve to be on prime time. It's pointless and well terrible. Well to be fair I'll point out all the flaws.
-Animation: is gory. It's so gory it hurts my eyes. It's really insulting the flash program. I mean like the creators thought it would be fun to just rush through the animating process.
-Characters: are dreadful.
Carl: This annoying punk who thinks all of canada loves him. He thinks he is so cool just because he can use other people as his scape goat. And worst of all he disobeys his parents in an unlawful way. Is that a role model for todays kids?
C2: Carls biznatch. He just slaves to Carl like he was genetically made to. Skye: An oblivious biznatch. She's suppose to be smart but can't tell the difference between carl and c2. She also lets Carl take control of her and do what he says which makes this show part sexist.
Jamie: Apparently the other character who knows about the clone. Not really much of a character in fact its like he is an anti character because he tries to scoop everyone with his 5 dollar camcorder. "Oooh look at me, just because im friends with carl and I have this knock off camcorder I guess that makes me cool and stupid"
-Plots: Are rediculous. Always center around the C2 and Carl. Either showing carl as a beyond perfect guy." Also they use street words to appeal to minorities which I think they dont like. "Blog dog" "Moms da bomb" and other useless words.
In general I hate this show. It's boring and senseless. Canada needs to make better shows then this, along with other terrible shows such as; 6teen,ruby gloom, spider riders.
Carl is a teenage boy who clones himself... and lives with his clone.... who is a secret to all but him and his best friend- whilst at the same time he ironically charts his life on a videoweblog, openly talking about his clone... The one plothole i can't get... he lives in a Canadian upper middle class township or suburb with upper middle class two storey houses... and with a family... his sister Chloe is often against him for various reasons and seems to have an insane desire to communicate or please some dark spirits or daemon creatures... his father is a normalish man... his mother the usual sort of repressive and cleanfreakish parent... allround a pretty normal family. Carls best friend is a fellow teenage boy who spends much time with Carl socially... Carl also has a girlfriend, Skye Blue... who is interested in animal rights causes and such things... seems perfectly convinced that the causes are worth fighting for just because their causes... and those 'poor' freaking animals would die.... etc etc... tries to save a tree... theres forests you know... of them.... not like we're running out of trees or anything... anywhoo, the clone who carl refers to as C-2 is often the cause of Carls problems.... and in the end, as in all shows, everything works out for the better. The animation is quite good for a cgi show and it is quite an enjoyable show allround.... quite entertaining. i havent seen the first season with its various elements... but saw latter season. Yes quite a good show allround.
Late one night he was in his romm... Surfing the net like he always does... and he got spam from a cloning company... he sent away samples as a joke, and got his dog to lick the stamp... Dog slobber got mixed with the DNA, and when Carl gets a clone he is surprised, but even more surprised when he discovers the clone is part dog, because of the dog spit.
He names the clone C2, hence the name CARL SQUARED for the series.
Carl Squared is at No. 3 On my list of fav shows, and I give it a 8.7/10.
Very Original Idea of the Plot. Carl was Spammed by a Cloning Advertisement, he Decided to Enter it as a Joke. His dog Licked the Stamp, he Sent it to the Address that he was Given, and when Carl's Clone; c2 was Created he had 5% Dog DNA!
Almost every Episode is a Fun-Filled Adventure. So many Completely Different Ideas and Plots, so much Fun Jokes, and Alot more Great Things, and Still many People Don't like this Show! Why? Because they Obviously don't Understand the Quality of this Cool Cartoon... This Cartoon is Just as my Classification Says " Better Every Season "
But for some Reason, I Cannot Understand how Someone Could Possibly Hate this Show, I mean What's Bad About It? Maybe it's Because they think Cloning is Stupid or Something Like that... Anyway, the Way I see it, this is a Pretty Nice Show.
Carl is an average kid who was chatting online when he saw an ad for a cloning company. So as a joke he sent away some of his DNA thinking how cool it would be to have a dople-ganger!Of coarse,he knew this could never happen, but one day he opens his door..
I really like this show!!It's a Canadian show, but I think its underappreciated! I dont know if it's a big thing in Canada, but it should be a pretty big thing in America, too! It's a really funny show! I don't have much to say though, I've only seen, like, 10 episodes so far, so I'll have to get back to you on it, maybe....
Carl Squared is a show about a kid who gets a clone. The clone is far "superior" in many ways. Carl uses him to work out his plans to live his daily life.
Carl Squared is a show about a kid who gets a clone. The clone is far "superior" in many ways. Carl uses him to work out his plans to live his daily life. The show is "ok" in my eyes. The show is actually pretty entertaining. It has a good mixture of normal life and science fiction. Although, I find that Carl's constant use of his clone to be the fall out tedious. It stikes me that C2 has yet to discover what Carl is doing. Carl is quite egotistical and arrougaunt. I don't really like his character. But he relates to mostly the "slacker" persona. Skye, Jaime and Chloe are completely stereotypical. Vegan, Goth, and "Gangster". I do wish the creators made the characters a tad bit more original. But despite all of these things, Carl Squared is one of my favourites. I also found the Season one finale to be a good one. The whole "twist" ending was quite good and leaves a story plot for future seasons. The show is going strong, and that's pretty good for a new series. I hope it does stay for a few more years.
Carl Squared is about a 14 year old dude with a clone. He messes up in every episode and has wacky advertures. Here is what I think about Carl Squared:
Good Parts:
Carl and fun and wacky advenutures that make me laugh all day long. There are so many quotes of Carl Squared stuck in my head. It's just a good show. What makes it cool is that how everyone is trying to figure out why Carl acts like two people.
Bad Parts:
The graphics on this show aren't that good. Also the placing of the kitchen from the stairs view is very diffrent. There's diffrent places for rooms. Also whats bad is how they play the same old 3 second sound for every funny or bad part.
Anyways, It's a good show and I have seen every episode (except for Halloween, Chirtmas and Valentines episode)
Honestly, Carl Squared is quite an entertaining show. It\'s about a typical teenage slacker named Carl who just doesn\'t seem to have any motivation to anything productive, other than blogging and skateboarding. The answer to Carl Crashman\'s laziness...
To be honest, Carl Squared is quite an entertaining show. It\'s about a typical teenage slacker named Carl who just doesn\'t seem to have any motivation to do anything productive, other than blogging and skateboarding. The answer to Carl Crashman\'s laziness comes soon enough when a copy of himself shows up in a crate on his front porch. Carl Squared is more enthusiastic and charming than Carl-1. This whole show revolves around the daily dramas that Carl Crashman encounters and keeping his clone a secret from everyone. Carl\'s family consists of him, his psychiatric mother, inventive father, and gothly twisted sister. Carl has a girl-friend named Sky Blue. She is a kind and unselfish person who cares about the well being of animals and the environment. The only person who knows about Carl\'s clone is his best friend, Jamie James, who is interested in filmography. This show is not mind blowing or astonishing in anyway, but it is enjoyable and worth the watch. One thing that I found that this show lacks is that there is not enough bonding time with Carl and his girlfriend. The relationship that Carl and Sky have doesn\'t seem too compelling to hold strong, when clearly, they are dating. Well, the point is, you should watch a few episodes for yourself, because I personally love this this show. With an actor who does the voice for both Carl and C2, the imaginative life of Carl Crashman\'s clone bombarded world becomes quite an entertaining cartoon.
Must see show.Watch it,you\'ll love it,people.About a teenager and a clone.Cloey is his sister,Jamie is his best friend & the only one who knows of his clone.Lorna a nosey neighbor.Sky is his gf.C2 is the clone.C2 does what Carl hates to do.Takes Carl spo
Carl sends his clone C2 to do his dirty work for him. An example of this is... Carl hates responable. One day Carl and his sister Cloey were made to clean thier rooms to get thier allowanes. Thier Mom and Dad cuts thier alloances till they work for it. Cloey hates the idea because the dark spirts would hate it. Carl also hates the idea because of the responablity thing, but he sends his clone to do it for him. Clone boy does such a good job, his Mommy\'s friends wants him to do thier house. Carl was kinda high stung over this until he found out money was involed in it. So Carl let clone boy go ahead and do it, making Carl look responable. And all goes well until they buy industral cleaning suplies that makes C2 sick. Carl then has to do it himself, which he hates the idea of it. But only plans to do it until C2 gets better, but messes that up. He loses the job clone boy got, but is kinda happy about it.
Carl was pretty ordinary, until he sends a sample of his DNA (aswell as dog slobber that accidentally got on) to a laboratory that will clone him. Well, it wasn't really fake, seeing that later on, Carl's life is running double with his new helper/friend,
I've been waiting for this show ever since I saw the commercials in the summer, and I wasn't disappointed (as I am with several new shows). The story is quite original and witty, maybe sometimes getting you off the couch for one reason only, to get a refill on some nice chips.
Characters: Best part. Stuart Stone playing both C2 and Carl is great (kudos to SS for his expertise) and really shows Carl's lazy and sometimes rebellious personality, and Carl's extremely friendly and carefree one. The others are done very well, but not as good as C2/Carl. Chloe is sarcastic, dark, and pretty funny for someone that gothic (her jokes are sometimes like "Curse you, SUV slime!". Heh, I love that one). Jamie's character is solid, as well as Skye's. As for Lorna, well, you can't really hate her for some reason.
Plot: Snappy dialogue to support a sometimes weak or "cutsey" plot. But ya, brownie points go to the REALLY good ones and really save it.
Music: It's never really a big factor in the series, which can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on how you look at it. But when the music does come on, it suits pretty well to a modern audience.
I give this a 8.5/10. Really good, but can be better.
