A resounding YES, watch this show!

A heart wrenching NO, it doesn't "wrap". And I curse HBO every day for canceling it.

Carnivale must have been the bést tv-show I ever watched. It beats Twin Peaks, Lost, Heroes and all others out there easily! It's a shame the show got cancelled.

I have to yes to both. But listen to why. By the end of the story you will be begging for more yes. Maybe some cliffhangers are left but the ending is a bit pleaseing. Carnivale is a great show and I love no matter what The end is.

I don't understand why so many people feel that they were "left hanging" after Season Two. The first two seasons completed the first story in the planned trilogy. It's a great, complete story with a satisfying conclusion.

There are a couple of unanswered questions, and a couple of great cliff hangers, but nothing that took away from the ending of the first storyline.

I highly recommend the first two seasons to anyone interested. You won't feel cheated.

I'm glad I checked here (TV.com) to read your views on Carnivale. It has just begun broadcasting in Canada, so it's brand new to me. I've been so frustrated lately by the cavalier attitude of network execs to the viewing public (early cancellation, mid-season hiatus) that I didn't want to invest my time and careful attention to a work that would ultimately disappoint. Despite the anger and frustration I've read about over the end (so-called) of the show's second and last season, it sounds like my response to the first show (I loved it) is on-track with what most of you experienced, having seen the whole two-year run. I'll definitely keep watching it. Thanks for your comments.

I thought the show was pretty damn good, until the series finale. The last episode of season 2 looked like they were hoping to have a 3rd season. However, even if they had a 3rd season, a lot of the plot line would have kept the same, and IMO it should have ended with clarity in season 2.

Well, clearly, the show did not believe they were going to get cancelled...I think the writing reflected that...Very surprising for a network like HBO to pull the rug out but if rumours are indeed true, the costs just never justified the continuation...Truth is, I didn't hear about this series (Unlike say Sopranos) untill this past year - years after it was cancelled.

Perhaps it never was well advertised/marketed??...Shame as anyone who has seen it or is a fan, it's a pretty special series

I've just watched the two seasons and found it to be very enjoyable. I thought it rounded off well even with the hopeful teasers for a season three that never came.

Certainly worth watching. While it finishes 4 seasons too early, its a GEM
