Does anyone know if the second season has been released to DVD if not, does anyone know when they plan to release it?

tvshowsondvd.com announced that HBO will release season 2(region 1) by the end of 2006.

They also said that we can look forward to (all in 2006)

A UK retailer called Play.com lists the release date for the Region 2 (Europe only) version as 07/08/2006.
I assume this means August 7th as opposed to July 8th...
Those crazy Brits and their date format! agh!

Hopefully North America gets its release soon too.

A 3 disk set DVDs for Carnivale season 2 has been offered for sale on e-bay for several months now by a number of sellers. The packaging and disk labels are the same format and style as for season 1. I called HBO - They told me they had issued no DVDs for season 2 and could provide no information about these DVDs. Does anyone have an information about these DCDs. I really do not want to buy pirated or poor quality DVDs!

I'm so excited. I've been yearning to see Season 2 because I don't have HBO. I can't wait to get the whole season from Netflix.

The second season was released today. Best Buy is selling them this week at a pretty good price ($65). I got my copy already and cannot wait to have a Carnivale marathon!
