      • Guest star Dan Butler is an openly gay actor and playwright best known for his recurring role as the obnoxious heterosexual sportscaster "Bulldog" on Frasier. He reprises his role as Kenneth Arabian in episode 40, "Caroline and the Dearly Departed." Interestingly, series star Eric Lutes made two appearances on Frasier as the new, gay manager of the radio station. Also Richard spends this episode pretending to be gay so his paintings will be in the gallery. In real life Malcolm Gets, who plays Richard, is also gay. Edit
