(Caroline complains about Joe's oaths of love) Richard: You know Caroline, as usual you're making a huge deal out of nothing. I mean, he can't even know what love means at his age. He hasn't suffered, he hasn't had heartbreaking pain. Maybe Annie should date him first.

(Del and Annie about Richard) Annie: Maybe he's colorblind. Del: He can't be colorblind. He's an artist. Annie: Have you seen his paintings?

Annie: Look at all the flowers Caroline's boyfriend sent her. Why can't the guys I date send me flowers? Richard: Oh, I understand, it's a prison regulation.

(Caroline sits on a tree to pick apples) Joe: I just wanted to tell you that I'm having a blast. Caroline: (kisses him) Me too. Joe: And that I love you. (Caroline falls off the tree)
