Caroline finds a watch in her new antique desk and tries to find its previous owners (Morey Amsterdam and Rose Marie); meanwhile, Del learns that a deceased employee was an embezzler.
This episode sees the second mention or "Sincere Amore" - the love you never have to question. Caroline and Richard both realize that Stella and Vick have that kind of love.
Edit
Guest stars Rose Marie and Morey Amsterdam are best known for their supporting roles as Sally and Buddy on The Dick Van Dyke Show. In an interview around the time of the airing of this episode, Rose Marie said that unfortunately for Morey Amsterdam a lot of people thought he was dead. Including the Caroline ... staff! She assured them he was alive, well and willing to work. Rose Marie reprises her role as Stella in episode 38, "Caroline and the Kept Man."

Richard: (about the desk) If you can tell me how you plan to get this through the door, I'll give you a standing ovation.
Caroline: It'll fit. Trust me, I'm an artist. I know spatial relationships.
Richard: You're a cartoonist. You probably think we could just lift the wall and slide it under.
Edit
Caroline: (about a desk she just bought) I found this on the way to the deli. It's exactly what we need.
Richard: No, what we need is a tuna on rye and a turkey on wheat. This is what happens when you don't write things down.
Edit
Caroline: (after Richard taps the lever on the bottom of her chair with his foot and she sinks to the ground) Why don't you just snap my bra strap?
Richard: That would leave me with nothing to look forward to this afternoon.
