Aubrey brings his daughter, Michelle, to work for "Take Your Daughter to Work Day," but gets fired when he tells off his boss. Meanwhile, Cindy is obsessed with power making big bucks selling Green Queen products.
Kids in the Hall Dave Foley (Aubrey's boss) is the second Kids in the Hall member to have a part in this series, along with Scott Thompson. Exec. producer/creator/writer, Bruce McCulloch was also a member.
(at Aubrey's house, Laird accusing Dougie)
Laird: It's you fault.
Dougie: What? How is, this, my fault?
Laird: You pushed him into your wife's Green Queen cult.
Dougie: No, it's not a cult. It's a group of people led by charismatic leader who tells them what to say and do.
Gracen: I'm proud of you son, I'm. I'm a little more proud of what you might achieve after you graduate. Marmaduke: Really? Like what? Gracen: Like, maybe getting a job or moving out. Marmaduke: I don't see it. But anything possible.
Leila: Cindy, is this a sales call? Cindy: Hnhuh... it's an improving-your-life call. And eight cents from every dollar goes to finding homes for polar bears displaced by shrinking ice floes. Cindy: (trying to close the sale) I could have sworn I heard you say you liked the planet.
Laird: You're Dad-Man. You can do anything. Aubrey: Is that the way you felt about your dad? Laird: Sure. Until the summer I found out he sold hot dogs at the ballpark... that's why I can't commit to a woman.
Marmaduke: Well, I'm off to find my virtual classroom. (at his 'online' university) The seats next to the cute girls always go so fast... if you know what I mee-ean?
Gracen: OK, Laird... let's hear yours. Laird: Moppin' the floor with a fat lady in a truck stop bathroom. (quizzical looks around the car) What...? You guys wanted to know my worst sexual experience, right? Gracen: No, the question was, 'what was your worst job?' Laird: Oh... you meant 'job' job. Then... I would have to say the same thing... also my worst Christmas.
