Casablanca (1955)

Show Summary

Based on the movie of the same name. The series presented stories of romance and adventures in a North African setting. This series alternated with Cheyenne and Kings Row as part of the "Warner Brothers Presents" series that marked Warner's first foray into television. The TV show used the same sets and props as the movie, and even some of the supporting cast members could boast of having connections to the Bogart film. Dan Seymour, who played Ferrari on the show, had played Ferrari's bodyguard in the film. And Marcel Dalio, who in the movie operated the crooked roulette table, played Captain Renault in the series. In spite of this, the show failed to attract an audience, and was cancelled after one season.
