I missed this last time ^ but it appears it's on around the same time each year as it's being shown on ABC 1 (Channel 2) again. This time, in two parts of one & half hours each - Part 1 on 8th October and Part 2 on 15th October.

"....Seems the Doctor has a very naughty past life.."- indeed and what a contrast to his Doctor Who character. I see it's another Russell T Davies instalment/interpretation and apparently nothing like the original story but I wouldn't know as I haven't seen another "Casanova" or read anything about him. (Although I did know of the legend and his reputation.)

I was already a David Tennant fan but I like Peter O'Toole's acting/portrayal also in this and even though they don't look or sound anything like each other, for some strange reason, he's quite believable as the "older" Casanova.

I haven't really decided if I like this mini series or not but there's something compelling about it and I will no doubt tune in again next week.

It has been aired atleeeeast twice here in Sweden, and I was able to buy it from amazon, both from the US and the UK.
Think cdon.com has it aswell, which works here in "Norden".
