I loooved the mini-series, I loved the way fantasy crept into the story as the story went along.
The first episode, for example was quite historically correct, but the last episode was extremely odd, with the clothes, settings and people.
I think it was a sign of Casanova's illness increasing, seems like he had a urinary infection or something, what with odd hallucinations and blood in the urine.
