    • Gomera's name is from two iconic Japanese giant monsters: Godzilla (Gojira) and Gamera. Most of Gomera's likenesses are from Godzilla: the dinosaur rampaging through the city, and its characteristic beam attack. Gamera is sometimes known as a friend to children. The fairy woman is likened to when Godzilla faced Mothra and the fairy twins.
