As someone stated in the quotes section, Conan basically blew his cover by saying "Willard confirmed it for me." It seems he forgot about that. And lucky for him, Willard seem to have forgotten as well, seeing as he didn't say anything about it.

Response: The dubbers removed something slightly important. In the Japanese version Suzana was crying because her parents passed away and they couldn't see her in her wedding dress. Why the dubbers changed it, I have no clue.
