  • A fresh idea that promotes areas of this great country and what treasures can be had by just exploring where we live.

I found this show accidentally when I was on this cable channel and found it to be very entertaining and charmingly hosted by Kirsten Gum, who is easy on the eyes. (there was another host on this show but I have never seen any of those episodes so far, so i don't really know how to compare Kirsten with the other one). C&T has it's exciting moments when the host starts her dig and comes up with the elusive item of the show's quest for that particular week. (are they placed prior for her to find??...sometimes it does cross your mind.) My main complaint with the show is that Ms. Gum cannot go 5 minutes in before uttering the phrase, " How much is it WORTH?" I think the evaluation could be handled at the end of the show in a more informative and matter-of-fact kind of way. I believe the true value of the show is the experience of the trip and the euphoria of the find that is unique and personal to any of the treasure hunters and/or their family.moreless
