Smart idea to follow an episode of Dancing with the Stars with a murder on the set of a Dancing show, but after the initial premise was introduced things got really boring, predictable and unoriginal. Not enough Castle and Beckett investigating either as they devoted too much time to Kevin and Javier's nonsense.
While I thoroughly enjoyed the episode, there seemed to be little or no character development.
I thought the "case de jour" was pretty interesting with the doppelganger taking over the other girl's life.
Lanie's revelation that the "girls" had killed her ballerina aspirations was brilliant, giving Castle and Ryan their "Oh I don't know" moment about top heavy dancers.
The sidebar of Ryan's "Honeymoon stink" brought in some chuckles when Esposito still got the vibe from the ladeees, while Ryan was ignored.
Still no way forward for the Caskett fans and quite frankly, it's getting boring.
