But dang, the promo for it looks so good I guess I'll just stay up.

Was it worth not catching those Z's

I enjoyed the episode from the shooter's motivation to Beckett battling her demons and seeking help with them, though I did feel they coddled her a bit too long she was way too jumpy to be allowed to walk around with a firearm

I'm just happy the old "hold the weapon you were shot with"-therapy worked,she seemed back to her normal self after that.

I am so beyond tired of this season's focus being almost solely on Beckett. I mean, the show IS called CASTLE. In years past there has been a much better balance between the two main characters. I personally couldn't care less about her PTSD. Does that sound mean? Probably. But I want the fun loving, light hearted show back that I fell in love with. This season is DARK. I mean "depressing to where you don't wanna get out of bed" DARK!! With the exception of Demons, its become almost unwatchable for me. I won't stop watching because I adore Nathan too much, but seriously people!! Give me back the show I love and stop with all this DRAMA!!

Great, interesting episode. There is some truth in the point that this season we have seen a lot of Beckett but Castle has always been in, just a different focus to avoid being more of the same. Remember Las Vegas episode, that was all Castle.
