This episode was hilarious! I loved Castle trying to hide the paper from Beckett and then talking to the reporter and she was like" Yeah, well, you couldn't stop talking about her . I thought it was adorable how they kept on talking about the case on their dates ( and then pretending like they were having a good time with the other person)!

And who can forget Beckett's tell-tale hair twirl as she & Castle head off for a burger.

Near perfect episode, the case, the humor. Loved the dinner date part.

We love this show but can't figure out what happened to the snakes or the diamonds they digested?

well... it wasn't really told... but if you were to infer, if the snakes & diamonds were indeed gone from the pet store AND the detectives found out the brother-in-law did the murder in the end, you can infer then that the police will hit his home and confiscate the diamonds (they don't belong to the pet store owner either) and the pet store owner will be investigated and probably tried by a district attorney. And the poor wife will have no brother or husband...
