Castle: The Darth Castle theory

There are two big unknowns in Castle. The murderer of Beckett's mother... and Rick Castle's father. What if both were identical?

I literally can see it in front of me: In the last episodes of season 4, Castle finds out about his long missed father. After a awkward start and some serious trouble with Martha, little Ricky and his new dad come along very well. They smoke cigars together, have some deep talks. But in the last episode of the season, Castle finds some disturbing detail's about his father's past. And Beckett finds a new hint to solve her life's trauma. Push comes to shovel and in the last scene of season 4 Becket is standing with a gun pointing at the killer. Castle comes in and has to decide: should he let Beckett kill his father? He stands in the line of fire to protect his father. But the father has a gun, too. Becket shouts: "Castle, down!" We hear two shots. And...cut.

When there's a situation like that on tv or a movie then there's at least a reason why the main characters got together. It just seems too damn random otherwise, it would be a wow issue for the sake of it.

Way too far fetched, Castle is the mastermind, he's got money, works next to the police and is very smart.

No it's another theory, if you read the first post he says there are two big unknowns and I gave my theory about them. This is all speculation!!

I was talking about this with my friends who also watch Castle and we all agree that's when we stop watching Castle. It's the most obviously hook but I really hope they don't use it. The problem they have built the person up so much it can only be a handful of people.

I don't see that being a big deal

in all the episodes, the subject off castle's father was never put in a serious concept

not once was it indicated that he really wanted a father

that wouldn't be a really big deal for him, I think

Castle's father? Really? I hope they don't go there. If they do, the whole Castle/Beckett thing will be ruined because no one in their right mind would be with a relative of someone that murdered their parent. At least not in my world.
