  • The first episode I actually ever watched; a serious oversight on my part...

    How did I miss this series? Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic are hilarious together, and have so much amazing chemistry with each other. Now, about this episode, specifically. Let me start by saying that Beckett looked so beautiful when she was on the date. If I could get my hair to go like that... or do anything but curl uncontrollably... But I digress. I loved the interaction between Alexis and Rick, and all the Castle/Beckett parts. I loved the quick-cuts while they were on their dates, and their 'revisionist history' opinions of their dates at the end. All in all, the writing is amazing, the costumes are fabulous, the sets are beautiful, the casting is great, and the only thing I found complaint with is, for someone who writes for a living, and whose main character (at least lately) is a woman, Castle should have known that Beckett didn't FLIP her hair, she TWIRLED her hair. Two very different motions.
  • We love this show but we can't figure out what happenen to the snakes and the diamonds? I'm new to this and not even sure how to retreive an answer.

    We love this show but we can't figure out what happened to the snakes and the diamonds?

    I'm new to this and not even sure how to retreive an answer to my question!

    The dinner was really funny---wonder what happened to the other couple.

    I'm having trouble comming up with 100 words and I can't submit without having a 100 word min.

    It probably won't let me do anything. I'm a senior citizen and have a hard time figuring out all this tech situations. Well I only have a few more words to go so I will continue rambeling until I get to 100.
  • While investigating the death of a what they think is a squatter, the team realizes there's a lot more going on than meets the eye. Castle is ranked a most eligible bachelor in the newspaper, but it also says that he is romantically tied to Beckett.

    Another very strong episode of Castle following last weeks great episode. This one starts off strong with the piece about Castle and Beckett on the front page of the paper. Then we see one of the more clever plots that the team has ever uncovered.

    From a romantic standpoint this episode was very satisfying. We get to see jealousy, passive aggressive behavior, obvious single minded natures, and finally the truth about both Castle and Beckett. The "dates" and the fact they both go pretty much the same way was very interesting. Both Beckett and Castle are more about the job than anything else. I think it's the things that give them common ground that really makes them work together in so many ways. I loved the little turn of the hair for Beckett in both instances and especially Castle's reaction to the first time he see's it. She does the action with so little effort. Katic is actually turning out to be a wonderful actress and very much an equal of the veteran Fillion. What marvelous casting.

    The story tonight was pretty smart in both sense of the word. Smart in that it was a very intelligent plot and smart in the fact that it was not predictable as many of the previous Castle episodes have unfortunately been and looked really good. I won't say a lot about the storyline but it was great to see Beckett and Castle working out the details in their minds separately and together. The writing is wonderful in that the two characters make one fit so perfectly with the other. Also I would like to mention Rick Gonzalez who played Mickey Carlson the person who really helped break the case for our team. Gonzalez played Bret Harrison's sidekick Ben, one of the main characters on Reaper for the two seasons the show was on TV. It was nice to see him guest starring.

    Overall a very satisfying and enjoyable episode of Castle. We get to see some really good acting and writing when this show is clicking and boy was it clicking tonight. Thanks for reading...
  • How to tell something is a TV show?

    ...When the media has the story facts correct before the principals even know they are fact! Can two intelligent people really be this unaware, and one of them be a detective? Strangely, in matters of the heart, I guess they can. But as long as they are still saving the day, then it makes for entertaining TV.

    An interesting case where the crook was out crooked by another, unrelated felon. And a cold one at that. I mean, to kill your own brother in law and then expect to go home to your unassuming wife each day? Forever more...?? Really cold!

    Fortunately, all it takes to discover the truth are two bad dinner dates, a possibly unhealthy preoccupation with the case details and, an unconscious preoccupation with your "partner".

    Oh, and have a trusted friend pick up your mail and newspapers...DON'T put vacation stops on anything... ;o}
