This week castle is convinced Ninjas did the murder, he may be right!!
  • The Way of The Ninja

An interesting episode, although it quickly became very predictable, and then predictable again with their later "twist". The ninja fight at the end was also quite awkward.

What classic Castle episode. Great interaction and a good puzzle. I did love the Interaction between rick and kate especially when he calls her on her overreaction and she admits it. Am enjoying how the writers are writing a mature couple rather than tired old tropes...

I gave it a "ten" because the writing reminded me of how much fun it used to be. This was an excellent episode.

    • Beckett: Carly was boring.
      Castle: Boring?
Beckett: Yeah. All she did was complain about her husband, saying, now that she was married, there's no romance in her life. It's just an endless routine of sameness.
      Castle: So your fabulous friend...
Beckett: ...Is not so fabulous anymore. I mean, that's not gonna happen to us, is it? You've done this before. Marriage isn't gonna change us, right? We're not gonna become one of those couples that go to the same two restaurants and only have sex on national holidays? (Castle smirks) No, I'm serious. 'Cause that place that you were at tonight, it was filled with married men that are bored with their wives. I don't ever want to be bored with you, and I don't want you to be bored with me, either.
Castle: Okay. Well, then, let's, um, put it into our vows. A promise to each other that, even though we're married, it doesn't mean there is no more romance. And we will never, ever be boring. Deal?
      Beckett: Okay, deal.

    • Beckett: You didn't call because you were in a private room making out with a geisha?
Castle: Okay, we were not making out. She was kissing me. A-and for the record, she wasn't a geisha, she was a hostess.
      Beckett: The difference being...?
      Castle: Okay. Point taken.

    • Castle: You should have seen the way he moved, the athleticism, the grace, the agility. It was like a--
      Esposito: Ballet dancer.
      Castle: No.
Beckett: Yeah, no, actually, a ballet dancer could move like our alleged ninja did.
Esposito: Only now we got motive. I talked to the dancers who lived with Jade back at the dorms. Apparently, there was some major bad blood between her and a male dancer named Lee Tong.
Castle: Man! Yeah, but it can't be a ballet dancer. Because it would just be such a huge letdown.
Beckett: Of course. We can't let facts get in the way of a good story.
