  • Veritas: Should Have Been Two-Parter

    9.5
Veritas was a well-written and satisfying episode. Given that it was closing off a 6 season long story arc for Beckett, it should have given more screen time to truly do it justice. Making this episode into a two-parter would have been a much better ending to the season than the train wreck of "For Better or Worse".

A great moment with Beckett finally bringing down the man responsible for her mother's death. This episode had some weak spots, but a great payoff in the short-term and for the long-term health of Beckett's character.

" I am waiting for her to be movie. Please pick her Daniel Craig or Bond movie producers" - watch the end of Quantum of Solace. :)

  • Missed it

    6.0
I've watched the reruns a gazillion times each but missed this one. Glad to see she finally got her mother's killer based on the reviews below. And I liked Montgomery so it's nice they had her thinking of him.
  • A sideline

    10
Just a little sideline. After 20 minutes in the show I was gripped by the unfolding events in a way, that I hardly ever had experienced in the last 6 years. I regularly look at the older shows of season 1, 2 and 3. The lightheartness and the flirty banter of the past has gone. Now we see an emotional ground and almost touchable feeling between the actors (but let us be frank, as Kate once said to Castle"that girl is an actress, it is her job to cry!").

But in retrospect I realise, that it was not only the superb acting of all the members of the cast, but also the brillance of the director of this episode, alongside the props and music, that had me gripped!!!moreless
