I'm going to reserve judgement on this as this mini-series has only just started to air in the UK.

I saw it, and it couldn't have come at a worse time, being that people were still suffering from the very REAL hurricane that was Katrina that caused so much damage.

The movie was filled with a lot of political propaganda, just like that feature film "The Day After Tomorrow", which was also very silly, but made for a decent action sequence or two.

Despite the hotplate of discussion about global warming, there is still no connection between this theory and the number of hurricanes going up. We are in the middle of the peak of a cycle, a cycle that lasts 30 or 40 years. Look at the data and you'll see for yourself: All the years that had really bad hurricanes were in the middle of this cycle's peak. It's been like this for hundreds of years.
