Goof: Ross Duffy consistently mispronounces "mesosphere" as "mesophere".
Goof: During television coverage of Hurricane Eduardo in Florida, the reporter states the storm is a Category 5 hurricane with wind gusts to 150 MPH. 150 MPH winds would actually be classified as Category 4 on the Saffir-Simpson hurricane scale. Category 5 wind speeds start at 156 MPH sustained with higher gusts.
Goof: During the storm that floods New York City, a subway station is seen bearing the legend "Wilshire Boulevard." No such street or station exist in NYC. They do, however, in Los Angeles.
Melody: Boss, we got nothing in reserve. We get hit by a second weather disaster, we're gonna need a FEMA to look after FEMA.
Judith: Boy, did I choose the wrong week to get promoted.
Judith: Melody. Does the ideal of a secret mission appeal to you?
Melody: Do I have a Japanese kitty cat tattooed on my butt?
Judith: I'll take that as a yes to both.
Tommy: When I was up in that twister, looking down at the Sears Tower, it struck me. I was a man facing his destiny strapped in an SUV. So, what did I do?
Ross: What?
Tommy: I popped that lock, and I stepped outside, and I actually flew.
Ross: You did not.
Tommy: I flew. I figured, Hell, I'm already dead, why not enjoy the ride? Ride that whirlwind! But that's when I saw it. My destiny. I was flying higher than incoming traffic into O'Hare, but I suddenly knew that I wasn't gonna crash. That tornado dropped me straight into Lake Michigan. Point your toes!
