Welcome to the Fantasy Island episode guide. Smiles everyone, Smiles! So began this long-running (7 season) series which was one of the ABC Network's anthology guest-cast series (along with The Love Boat) that proved wildly popular. Each week two guests came to Fantasy Island to get their wish/fantasy fulfilled. Their mysterious host, the debonair and suave white-suited Mr. Roarke (Ricardo Montalban), would do the sometimes impossible and grant them their wishes ... but there was always some twist to the fantasy, letting the guest learn something about themselves or get something they weren't expecting. Best remembered for the presence of Herve Villechaize as the diminuitive "Tattoo" and his cry of De plane! De plane!, the show proved popular enough to go the distance and then spawn a brief revival/remake in the 1990s. A remake of Fantasy Island (1998) in the late 1990's was not as successful as its predecessor.moreless

    The WB (ended 2005)
Jackie Chan is now a cartoon character in his very own television series, battling to obtain the 12 magic talismans, each containing its very own power. He and his Uncle get a visit from Jackie's niece - Jade - and that's when Jackie finds out about Section 13 and the magic talismans which the Dark Hand are trying to retrieve to free the trapped Dragon, Shendu, from his prison of stone, so he will give them the lost treasure of Shen Che Hun. Jackie Chan defeated the Dark Hand almost every time, so Shendu had to use his own allies - The Shadowkhan - to help them destroy Jackie Chan. All the talismans that were found were placed in high security in Section 13. While Jackie continued to obtain each and every talisman, the Dark Hand also tried to figure out where Section 13 was located to steal the talismans and continue searching for the remaining stones. Soon, all of the talismans were collected and Shendu was freed from his stone form. Now, he was able to roam the Earth and destroy all of Asia, but Jackie Chan, with Uncle and Jade, stopped him and Jade destroyed him. In the second season, Shendu's spirit is told by his brothers and sisters that he should've released them when he was in the real world and they put a spell on him to possess a person to get the Pan Ku box and remain in that person's body until all of the 7 demon sorcerers are released (he wants to possess Jackie). If he fails, the torment on Shendu will begin. After taking over Valmont's body mistakenly, he must free the other demons to reign chaos on the planet. He then possessed the Pan Ku Box which can release his fellow demons at different rendezvous points and bring chaos upon the Earth and to destroy Jackie Chan. Jackie continues to search for the Pan Ku box and retrieve it before the Dark Hand actually sends a demon he cannot defeat with Uncle, Jade, and Tohru. After this is over, Jackie goes through many different adventures until towards the end of the season, we are introduced to a Dark Chi Wizard named Daolon Wong. At the end of the season, Daolon Wong takes a interest towards the Talismans, hoping to absorb their powers and make himself invincible. In the third season, just as Jackie is ready to retire from Section 13, Daolon Wong and the Dark Hand break into Section 13, trying to steal the talismans. But Jackie blows up the talismans, and Uncle imprisons Daolon Wong's original Dark Chi Warriors. So they must now save the talisman-powered animals from Daolon Wong and his newly Dark Chi warriorized servants: Finn, Ratso, and Chow with Hak Foo coming later. Even at the time, Daolon Wong resurrected Shendu to get the power of combustion. After Shendu was reverted back to a statue and Daolon Wong (who was stripped from most of his magic) and the enforcers (who have been returned to their true forms) have been arrested, the talismans popped out of Shendu during the defeat. In the fourth season, Jackie must stop Tarakudo the Shadowkhan King and the enforcers from collecting the 9 Omni masks (which used to be his generals) of power that will allow him to control the Shadowkhan. In the fifth season, Jackie must stop Drago from absorbing the chi of his aunts and uncles, the Demon Sorcerers, from the original items that were used by the 8 Immortals to banish them to the Demon Netherworld. Jackie Chan Adventures was nominated for three awards at the Emmy Awards for 2001 and 2002. The series was nominated for the 2001 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing - Special Class, received by Robert Duran (supervising sound editor), and Roshaun Hawley (dialogue editor/adr editor). Nominated for the 2002 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing - Special Class, received by the same crew members as last year, and for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing - Special Class. Fil Brown (re-recording mixer), Dan Cubert (re-recording mixer), Melissa Gentry-Ellis (re-recording mixer) accepted the award while Jackie Chan obtained the 2002 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program.moreless

Williams and Eddie Torres who work the streets of New York undercover. Despite all the pain and troubles they go through with their lives, whether it involved their cases or home life, at the end of the day, they relax to the smooth music performed by different artists at Natalie's. Audiences fell in love with the show's plot lines and characters. The episodes had a realistic sense about it that made it one of the top ten shows that aired on FOX. Season 1: In this season, Malik Yoba plays Detective J.C. Williams, a black man who is trying to put in life back in order again after his divorce from his ex wife, Chantal, played by Fatima Faloye. He is also trying to be a good father to his son, Gregory "G", (George O. Gore II) who is going through the motions of growing up and becoming a teenager. The one thing that he is striving to keep is his relationship with his girlfriend, Sandy Gill. Unfortunately, an arch enemy of J.C.'s ends their time together. Michael DeLorenzo plays Detective Eddie Torres, a young Puerto Rican who takes his job to heart. While working on his cases, he is also dealing with his family troubles and has a tendency to struggle with his heritage. Both Eddie and J. C. work under Lt. Virginia Cooper (Patti D'Arbanville), a white mother and wife who doesn't take any hassle from anyone. She does what she can to look out for her detectives and never puts them on a case they couldn't handle. Season 2: In this season, a new character has joined the team. Detective Nina Moreno, played by Lauren Velez, is a young Puerto Rican who was introduced as Eddie's new partner due to J. C. being in the hospital because of his close encounter with death. As she struggles to be a good cop, she also tries to earn respect from Eddie. As for J.C., he is recovering from his wounds caused by his enemy who also killed Sandy. J.C. is once again finds himself struggling to put his life back together and dealing with the loss of Sandy, and can only relieve his pain by getting back on the streets. For Eddie, he tries to get his friendship back with a distant J.C., he is fighting his feelings for Nina, and helps his father who is dying of AIDS. Season 3: In this season, a new detective joins the crew, a relationship heads to a new road, and death takes its ugly toll on two of the detectives. Jonathan LaPaglia joins the cast as Detective Tommy Macnamara, an Irish cop with a know-it-all attitude and a distinctive personality, which doesn't go well with the team, especially J.C. Unfortunately, he was only able to shine his talents for a short while do to his murder. Eddie and Nina goes through many obstacles in their relationship, especially when Nina is trying to recover from a gun shot wound she got last season. Eddie is determined to make it last and asks Nina to marry him; which she accepts. However, in order to make that happen, Nina must divorce her first husband. Nina is also going through the process of trying to get her daughter, whom she gave up for adoption, back into her life. While dealing with that, for a while she starts to question her future as a cop. While Eddie is learning of these new secrets about Nina, he deals with his father's death (or suicide), and unfortunately meets an untimely death. As for Lt. Cooper, she starts an elicit affair with a captain and goes through a rocky separation from her husband and family. Season 4: In this season, two detectives deal with the lose of a friend and a husband, and is assigned to work under a new team. J. C. and Nina are assigned to work under Lt. Malcolm Baker, played by Thomas Mikal Ford, and with their new partners, Detective Alec Stone, played by Josh Hopkins, and Detective Nell Delaney, played by Marisa Ryan. J.C. is coping with Eddie's death and is trying to help his son, "G", grow up to be a man. Nina is trying to survive being a widow and concentrating on being a good detective. As time passes, the two start to form an attraction for each other, which leads to something they both never thought possible. Detective Alec Stone is cocky cop who does what he can to get the job done. Detective Nell Delaney is a tough cop whose smart comments and intelligence keeps her ahead in the game. Finally, we meet Lt. Malcolm Barker, a ferocious cop who knows what he's doing and doesn't let anyone stop him in the actions he makes. Due to the Season's 3 shocker of Eddie's and Tommy's death and the departure of Lt. Cooper, the fans started to lose interest in the show. Ratings slowly started to go down and the show didn't last beyond the 4th season. Still, to this day, the show remains to be one the best show that will be missed.moreless

The Wild Wild West ran for four seasons, and featured the adventures of two Secret Service Agents working for President Ulysses S. Grant. The two men were James West, former Union soldier and current man-of-action, gunman, and womanizer. His partner was Artemus Gordon, a former con man and master of disguise and invention. Together, the two fought various menaces aimed at the United States and President Grant, as well as investigating other Federal crimes. Riding on the post-James Bond spy craze of the 60's, WWW featured not only all of the typical "spy gimmicks" like boot knives, miniature explosives, and spike-firing grapple guns, but featured a variety of criminal masterminds wielding high-tech items (for 1880) like robot squids, cyborgs, exo-skeletons, steam-powered giant puppets, earthquake machines, hallucinogenic drugs, shrinking potions, and much much more. Their major nemesis, the diminutive Dr. Miguelito Loveless, was a master of such gadgets and gizmos. The show's producers and writers mixed all of these with typical Western movie conventions, a nod to the old movie serials, and some modern-day stylings as well to produce a unique series that has rarely been seen since. Millennium was a television series that premiered on Friday October 25, 1996. The series was Chris Carter's much anticipated follow-up to the very popular The X-Files. Millennium focused on the work of ex-FBI profiler Frank Black, who had retired but was brought back in as a consultant. Frank had a special ability to see into the minds of serial killers and to get into their heads. He also worked for a mysterious organization called the Millennium Group which seemed to take a special interest in serial killers and end of the world prophecy. In the first season, Frank lived in Seattle with his wife Catherine and daughter Jordan. The show focused on Frank's work as a profiler. He spent most of his time in the first season trying to solve serial murder cases. During the second season, the show primarily on Frank's relationship with the Millennium Group. He separated from his wife after his violent rescue of her from a stalker. Frank learned that the Millennium Group was a secret society that believed that the world was coming to an end. During that season, Frank spent much of his time working with Millennium Group member Peter Watts and fellow investigator Laura Means. After the death of his wife at the end of the second season, Frank severed all connection with the Millennium Group and returned to work with the FBI. With the help of special agent Emma Hollis, he began to investigate the Millennium Group itself. The show changes direction again this season, however much of the long term questions that were raised during the first two seasons are answered. The show was canceled at the end of the third season, with an unfinished ending. In later 1999, the show received a conclusion of sorts in a crossover with The X-files entitled "Millennium." However very little closure is brought by this episode. There is however as of late rumors that Millennium may be brought back as a movie of some kind in the near future and finish the story. Show Type: Mystery/Thriller/Horror As of late, there has been some speculation in 2008 about the possibility of a "Millennium Movie" however, it is not know how likely this is yet. First Telecast: October 25, 1996 Last Telecast: May 21, 1999 Episodes: In total 67 Color Episodes (67 one-hour episodes, 6 two-part episode) were produced. DuckTales

    DuckTales

    Follow
    (ended 1990)
At first, DuckTales was intended as a 1-hour network series. However, when Bob Jacquemin, head of the studio's newly formed syndication unit, learned of the series, he realized that it had the potential to be his first hit. After immense internal lobbying, Jacquemin convinced Michael Einser to let him have DuckTales, and in doing so, he virtually reinvented television animation.

One of the first decisions he announced was that Donald Duck would play a minor role in the series, for the emphasis this time was going to be on Uncle Scrooge and his three nephews. To explain Donald's absence, the writers had him enlist in the Navy after leaving his nephews with Scrooge. The studio also created some new additions to the Disney stable. Among these were Launchpad McQuack, Mrs. Beakley, Webbigail (Webby) Vanderquack, Doofus, Duckworth, Fenton Crackshell, and Bubba Duck.

DuckTales had a special 2-hour premiere in most markets on September 18, 1987, with the first regular episode airing on September 21.

87 episodes were orginally aired, 100 in total if you count the special episodes: Treasure of the Golden Suns, Time Is Money and Super DuckTales that were later split into 30 minute shows.

Taken from The Wonderful World of Disney Television: A Complete History by Bill Cotter

    Characters:

Scrooge McDuck - Donald Duck's wealthy uncle, Scrooge McDuck. He is a millionaire who has many businesses all over the world, from oil companies to factories. He takes care of his three newphews when their Uncle Donald enlists in the Navy. Scrooge came into being when comic-book cartoonist Carl Barks needed a miserly old relative for a story, "Christmas on Bear Mountain" (1947). In this tale, Scrooge serves as a mere story prop, a simple caricature of his namesake from the Charles Dickens novel, "A Christmas Carol". Scrooge may seem hard on his nephews, but deep down he cares for them greatly.

Huey, Dewey and Louie - Scrooge takes care of his three nephews after their Uncle Donald joins the Navy. Being identical triplets, Huey, Dewey, and Louie are impossible to tell apart, except by the colors they wear, and historically, red for Huey, blue for Dewey, and green for Louie. At first they disturb Scrooge whilst he is working and irritate him to the point that the nephews overhear him telling Mrs. Beakly that they are too much trouble. As a result, they decide to leave, and end up running into the Beagle Boys who are planning to steal Scrooge's money. The triplets end up saving Scrooge's money and proving they're worth to their uncle. They may seem like trouble, but they are always there for Scrooge when the chips are down.

Launchpad McQuack - Scrooge's pilot Launchpad is somewhat disaster-prone. Launchpad is mistaken for a spy, in Double-O-Duck. Launchpad was created for this series, but went on to act as Darkwing Duck's sidekick in the spin-off of DuckTales - Darkwing Duck, as well as appearing in an occasional comic book story of his own. Launchpad may not be the brightest character in DuckTales, but his loyalty is unquestionable and he is an important member of the DuckTakles team.

Gyro Gearloose - Duckburg's greatest inventor. Scrooge often calls upon Gyro when the Beagle Boys try and break into his money bin, although Gyro's ideas often backfire and he ends up aiding the Beagle Boys. Interesting note: Carl Barks (Gyro's creator) used used Gyro frequently in the comics as did other writers and artists involved in the Duck comics. Gyro himself wasn't a duck, in fact, his exact species is never specified, although it's generally assumed (and confirmed by Barks in interviews) that he's a chicken.

Mrs. Beakly - Mrs. Beakley is the only one who can tolerate Huey, Dewey and Louie's bad behavior and exert some level of control over it. She is hired by Scrooge as the nanny and stays at the McDuck mansion with her Grand-daughter Webby. She agrees with Scrooge to work for room and board for her grand-daughter and herself.

Webby Vanderquack - Mrs. Beakley's granddaughter Webby, lives with Mrs. Beakly at the McDuck Mansion. At first, Scrooge's nephews don't welcome her, and play pranks on her. Webby often follows the boys around Duckburg getting into trouble on the way. Webby is warm-hearted and sweet.

Bubba - A caveduck Scrooge meet when he accidentally traveled into the past. As Scrooge was departing to return to the future, Bubba and his pet triceratops, Tootsie stowed away on the time machine. Ever since then, Bubba has been a part of Scrooge's family.

GizmoDuck/Fenton Crackshell - This character was introduced in the last season of DuckTales. Scrooge hires Fenton as his accountant, whose alter ego is GizmoDuck, a superhero who protects Scrooge's money bin. Aside from Scrooge, the only one who knows GizmoDuck's true identity is his mother.

Donald Duck - Donald enlists in the Navy leaving his nephews in his Uncle Scrooge's care. He pops up from time to time, normally to accidentally get himself in trouble. Today, Donald Duck is recognized by people of all ages, the world over. His face appears on lunch boxes, T-shirts, and thousands of other products, including a long-running brand of frozen orange juice. And, at any given moment, somewhere in the world, in any of a hundred languages, someone is reading a Donald Duck comic book or watching a Donald Duck cartoon.

    DuckTales Theme Song -

THEME SONG: The theme song was written by Liam Sternberg and sung by Holly Robinson - with backup vocals by Johnny Depp and Peter Deluise. The lyrics were: We never thought we'd find a place where we belong. Don't have to stand alone, we'll never let you fall. Don't need permission to decide what you believe.
