The Music Video Exposed is a VH1 documentary series that takes viewers behind the scenes of some of the most important and influential music videos from the 1980s, revealing the people responsible for helping to usher in the modern era of the music video with these groundbreaking and memorable videos. In the 1980s, video was a new and largely unexplored platform for music entertainment. With the advent of MTV in 1981, popular artists suddenly had an entirely new outlet for their creativity, as well as a valuable marketing tool and a means of reaching a wider audience. This series remembers the most important videos of that decade and presents informative profiles of the biggest names in behind-the-camera music video production. One episode focuses on the work of Wayne Isham, the man responsible for such videos as Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" and Motley Crue's "Girls, Girls, Girls." Another episode spotlights the work of Steve Barron, whose video achievements include Toto's "Africa" and A-Ha's "Take On Me." NOFX - Backstage Passport is the Fuse all-access documentary series that follows longtime punk band NOFX on their 200-8 world tour. NOFX was formed by vocalist and bassist Fat Mike and guitarist Eric Melvin in 1983. The two rallied up some musician friends in Los Angeles, and put out their debut EP in 1985. NOFX rose to popularity and went gold with their 1994 album Punk in Drublic. With over 20 years on the scene, NOFX has been through it all and stood the test of time. After the success of Punk in Drublic, NOFX received offers to sign with major labels, but took a stand by staying on indie label Epitaph Records. The band has taken influences from punk rock, skate punk, and ska punk, focusing heavily on themes like politics, society, racism, the government and politics, and religion. The band has been known to dislike the media, doing very few interviews and only making a handful of music videos, so Fuse's series is a rare treat. Locations that have since been transformed into performance halls include a 100-year-old ship, a former Archdiocese cathedral, and the diamond floor of Tiffany's. By selecting locations with aesthetic appeal and filling the space with invitation-only audience members, the series has managed to maintain the intimate atmosphere that initially made its shows great, even though the scenery has gotten a lot bigger.
