Played in Miami, Florida, the Discover Orange Bowl is the guaranteed destination of the ACC champion unless they are playing in the national championship game. Historically, the Orange Bowl was known for hosting the Big Eight champions until the birth of the BCS. Oklahoma (18) and Nebraska (17) are the overall leaders in appearances in the Orange Bowl game as a result. In 1989, FedEx become the official sponsor of the Orange Bowl.
