Ben 10

Upon discovering a mysterious device known as the Omnitrix, 10-year-old Ben Tennyson is bestowed with the power to change into 10 different alien heroes. Each alien hero has its own unique and awesome powers. Although Ben now has the added responsibility to protect others and fight evil forces, he still manages to find time for some mischief and fun!

Character Bios

Heat Blast - Comes from an alien race that lives on the sun rather than a planet. He can project bolts of fire from his hands and mouth, and create fireballs that he can either throw or roll. He also has the ability to absorb flames and heat, meaning he can put out a fire just as quickly as he starts one.

Powers/Strengths - Fireballs, absorption of heat/fire.

Weaknesses - Excess water.

Wildmutt - More animal than humanoid, he is a beastly alien with superhuman athletic abilities, and heightened senses of smell, hearing, and taste. He can also fire the quills on his back as projectiles with incredible accuracy. Even though he has no eyes, his lack of vision is supplemented by his hearing and smell, which works almost as well as actual vision (which appear as red figures against a green backdrop). Wildmutt cannot communicate verbally, but can growl, grunt, and make other similar noises.

Powers/Strengths - Sharp quills, athletic ability, heightened senses of smell, hearing, and taste.

Weaknesses - No sound or smell in surrounding areas.

Diamond Head - He's a crystalline alien whose body is harder than diamond, making him invulnerable to most physical attacks and allowing him to cut and slash through almost anything. He can also use his body to refract light and beam based weapons.

Powers/Strengths - Razor-sharp diamond shards, can refract light/beam-based weapons, ability to morph certain parts of his body into extremely sharp tools/weapons.

Weaknesses - Sonic-based attacks/weapons.

XLR8 - As the name states (pronounced like "accelerate"), he's a lizard-like alien that has the power to manipulate friction in order to gain acceleration, allowing him to move at incredible speeds. He may be fast, but he is not very strong compared to the other alien forms.

Powers/Strengths - Super speed (300 mph), able to manipulate friction, ability to run on almost any surface.

Weaknesses - Magnetic-based attacks/weapons.

Grey Matter - At a mere five inches tall, he's part of an alien race bred to enter complex machines and repair them from the inside. Consequently, he can squeeze through extremely small spaces. He's extremely smart, which gives Ben a boost in intelligence when he's in this form.

Powers/Strengths - Enhanced intelligence, ability to squeeze through small spaces, slimy skin allowing him to climb virtually anything.

Weaknesses - Strength-based opponents/enemies.

Four Arms - At 12-feet tall, he's an alien of extraordinary strength, and can jump high distances. Unfortunately, due to his body mass and his agility is declined and he is very clumsy.

Powers/Strengths - Super strength, armored skin, ability to create sonic waves when all four hands are clapped at once.

Weaknesses - Extremely quick opponents/enemies.

Stinkfly - He's a winged, insectoid alien and expert flier, able to pull off amazing acrobatic moves in midair. He can also take care of himself in flight, using his pincers and tail as weapons, as well as shooting slime from his eye-stalks. Much like Earth insects, he also has a tough exoskeleton, but very thin wings.

Powers/Strengths - Acrobatic flight, six pincer legs, very sharp tail, slime-shooting eye-stalks.

Weaknesses - Poisonous gases and water.

Debut Episode - "Washington B.C."

Ripjaws - This aquatic alien form is an extraordinary swimmer since he can breathe underwater and change his legs into a long tail with fins. He's remarkably fast and agile in the water and can fight with his claws or unhinge his powerful jaws to deliver a devastating bite.

Powers/Strengths - Underwater breathing, agility; powerful jaws and sharp claws.

Weaknesses - Dry land.

Upgrade - A biomechanical alien with liquid metallic skin and a system of organic "circuits." He has the ability to merge with any technology and bring it to life with enhanced abilities.

Weaknesses - Corrosives (acids) and electromagnetic energy.

Ghostfreak - A shadowy, phantom-like alien that has the ability to phase through solid objects, such as walls, and become invisible at will. Ghostfreak also exhibits limited telepathic and telekinetic abilities. He only has one eye, but can position it almost anywhere on his body by moving it along a track traced on his skin.

Powers/Strengths - Intangibility, invisibility, flight, telepathy, and telekinesis.

Weaknesses - Direct light.

Dora the Explorer

Nickelodeon

Dora the Explorer features the adventures of Dora, her monkey Boots, her Backpack and many other animated characters. In each episode, viewers help her to go an adventure in an animated world set inside a computer.

The third season of the program kicked off with "Dora's Star-Catching Adventure," introducing a new concept in which viewers interact with the show by searching for explorer-stars in each episode. A number of episodes are available in book form and on commercial video/DVD, including a couple direct-to-video releases. There are also a number of episodes and movies produced, but still unaired.

Dora the Exploreris currently in repeats on Nick Jr. and Noggin. Noggin airs the program every day including weekends at 3 and 4 P.M., but only shows first-season episodes. Nick Jr. shows episodes weekdays at 10 A.M., 11 A.M. and 1:30 P.M. and also occasionally organizes special showings in a marathon format. All repeats tend to be in a random order and all times listed are eastern.

Blue's Clues

Nickelodeon (ended 2013)

"To empower, to challenge, and build the self-esteem of preschoolers...all while making them laugh!" --- show slogan Blue's Clues celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2006. Blue gained a new baby brother who was later added to the series Blue's Room. The fun of the anniversary has ended, but you can continue to enjoy Blue's Clues in repeats on Noggin. Blue's Clues is a colorful and learning series that is targeted at the younger crowd, but can be enjoyed by all. Seasons 1-4 - It's Me, Steve! Have You Seen Blue, My Puppy? In the first four seasons of the program, host Steve Burns invited viewers daily into the Blue's Clues house to help him out, learn and have fun. From doing things like imitating Elvis Presley, to picking up a guitar and singing, acting like animals and more, Steve was always ready to do something funny and surprising. The show, was, and still is, based around the host looking for three clues that Blue provides by labeling them with a pawprint to figure something out. In a segment called "Blue Skidoo," Blue takes us into someplace that could be anything from a storybook world to a gameboard. Finally, "Mailtime" explores the theme of the episode using real kids. The program underwent many changes throughout the first four seasons of the show, including the release of a direct-to-video movie, the introduction of new characters such as Periwinkle and Cinnamon and even visits from occasional special guests. The schedule is highly variable, so keep an eye on listings for both Nick Jr. and Noggin. Additionally, many episodes of all versions of the program are available on commercial video and DVD. Season 5 - Joe Moves In In Season 5, long-time host Steve Burns left the program. The real Steve Burns began actively pursuing a musical career, while on the program it was said that he went to college. In order to fill in the role of host, the program introduced his "brother" Joe (Donovan Patton) to watch over the characters and play Blue's Clues in Steve's absence. Joe brings his own unique style to the program, from the colored shirts he wears that change from day-to-day, to his own personal interests, such as ducks. Season 6 - The Legend of the Blue Puppy In an episode shown in primetime viewers learned that Blue was born with a key that unlocks a playroom she can visit. In this playroom, Blue is transformed into a puppet. As a puppet, she can talk and interact with many new characters in the playroom, such as Rory the dinosaur, her stuffed friend Polka Dots, and a girl who goes by "Fred." Meanwhile, the show continues with Joe as the host and many of the normal features that viewers have come to know and love. Blue's Clues returned with a special episode in August 2006. This special episode celebrated the program's tenth anniversary. Cast listed in the guide as "Steve's Friends" or "Joe's Friends" are either additional voices or kids who appeared in Mailtime. These are listed under Co-Stars and are either one-shot guests, or sometimes recurring. Additional voices could be anything from a kid yelling "A Clue! A Clue!" to an auxiliary character such as a "Felt Friend." Additionally, a "Blue's Friends" section was added in later Season 6, for additional voices in "Blue's Room." Note that in Seasons 1 and 2, voices of regular characters also appears under "Steve's Friends." In Season 3, they are moved to a separate section, but it's a generic credits screen that doesn't reflect the characters that appear in the episode. From Season 4 onward, only voices actually used in the episode are credited. Blue's Clues currently has a number of DVD releases, but still no complete season releases, or anything more than basic special features, except for Blue's Big Musical Movie. Kim Possible

Disney Channel (ended 2007)

Disney's smash hit Kim Possible is focused on the everyday life of a high school teen. Kim Possible has to find a balance with everything school related, and battling super villains on a regular basis. Of course, all heroes need a wisecracking, clumsy partner. Kim is no exception. The comic relief of the heroic duo, Ron Stoppable, is always there for Kim, though his pet and second best friend Rufus, the naked mole rat, is always there to help out the duo when the going gets rough.

Character Guide:

Kim Possible: High school cheerleader by day, crime fighter by. . . well, day as well. She still has to be home by curfew, after all. Kim has no secret identity, which makes her that much more of a hero in that people can relate to her and don't seem to make a big deal out of it, mostly at her insistence. Her fiery red hair is a symbol of her attitude that is best summed up by the phrase, "I can do anything." She is stubborn, strong-willed, and has a fuse shorter than a grenade with a three second delay. Despite all of this, however, she is extremely humble, refusing to take credit for her truly amazing actions.

Ron Stoppable: Kim's best friend, partner, and in fourth season boyfriend. His nonconformist "never be normal" philosophy is applied to all facets of his life, and he has taught Kim a thing or two about peer pressure. He takes great pride in eating, and is the proud inventor of the Naco. Unlike Kim, who refuses to take credit for her actions, Ron is, as Kim puts it, "prone to big-headiness." While he's a bit of a glory hound, he always shares it with Kim (often to her chagrin) instead of soaking up the limelight. His unwavering devotion to Kim is simultaneously his greatest strength and his greatest weakness, for while it is the trait that makes her take notice of him, it also leads to her taking him for granted more often than not.

Dr. Drakken: For a supergenius, Theodore "Drew" P. Lipsky aka Dr. Drakken is pretty stupid. He has the brains to come up with some great ideas, but he lacks the patience it takes to iron out all the kinks and get his inventions fully functional. If it wasn't for Shego, he would have been out of the villain game a long time ago.

Shego: Essentially Kim's dark reflection. Both are smart, athletic, attractive, not to mention they both have green eyes. The only difference is that Shego has raven black hair as opposed to Kim's auburn locks, and the fact that she chooses to use her powers for evil rather than good. And boy, does she have powers. Her fiery personality is illustrated perfectly in her ability to encapsulate her hands in green plasma, as well as shoot these bursts of plasma at whomever she chooses. Shego takes great pride in sidelining Drakken's megalomaniacal ranting with the occasional snide remark and attempts to act as the voice of reason but fails utterly because Drakken is, well, insane. Why exactly she sticks around other than that is uncertain, but it may have to do with some feelings that may forever go unexplored.

Wade: As Kim's gadget guy and operator of her website, Wade is an invaluable addition to Team Possible. Despite only being 13, he holds several PhDs and can type at over 300 words per minute. He is a genius at all things technical, and proves invaluable as a support operator. He would be world renowned if he ever left his room, but the fact that he has only left it once shows signs that Wade suffers from agorophobia, the fear of going out into public.

Mr. Dr. Possible: As a rocket scientist, he's a living analogy for intelligence. He views women as equals with their own opinions rather than as underlings to be ordered around, and for this reason he is a great father to Kim and lets her live her own life, but he has letting go issues. He just can't handle the fact thas someday somebody will take away "his" Kimmie-cub, who will forever remain four to him. But with Kim now dating Ron, he'll have to let go sooner or later.

Mrs. Dr. Possible: Top brain surgeon and mother to Kim, Mrs. Dr. Possible has yet another analogy attached to her name. She is essentially Kim all grown up. Smart, independent, attractive, and not afraid to have a little fun, the Possible matriarch is a little more lenient than her husband, but she still enforces the rules when they truly matter.

Jim & Tim Possible: Kim's twin brothers or "Tweebs" as she calls them. They are super smart, but they use their intelligence more to annoy their sister than anything else. Despite the annoyance that they can be, twin supergeniuses can be quite useful on a mission.

Bonnie: If Shego is Kim's dark reflection, then Bonnie is Kim's polar opposite. Her stuck up, pessimistic, OCD, holier-than-thou attitude makes her the typical cheerleader. She makes it her mission to make Kim's social life miserable, but ends up failing most of the time.

Monique: Essentially a guidance counselor in the form of an African American teen. "Wise beyond her years" is the understatement of the century when it comes to Kim's best female friend. She has the uncanny ability to identify the source of and solution to other people's problems, which means she'll make an excellent therapist some day. Like Kim, Monique stands up for herself and refuses to let herself be controlled, earning a steady salary as a salesgirl at Club Banana. She is also an avid wrestling fan, which gives her and Ron something in common.moreless

Sesame Street

Sesame Street is a widely recognized and perpetually daring experiment in educational children's programming. This show has taken popular-culture and turned it upside-down. The fast-paced advertisements that had parents of the new era worrying for their children were the basis for the original format of this show. The show has often satirized pop culture, and made itself easier for parents to watch along too. And thus, the positive impact this show has had on modern society is beyond another. No show is more recognized the world over by as many generations and walks of life. Shown in its original format or with changes to reflect a regional education focus, Sesame Street is now seen in over 140 countries. The show that Entertainment Weekly named the "20th Best Ever Show" has changed the education scene to focus on "entertainment." This has turned out to be a valuable theory that not only helps the medicinal learning go down easier, but it also increases the effectiveness of the information being taught. In an almost backwards sense, the show stays fresh by recycling programming ideas every three years, by which time a new group of kids is watching. Unlike most PBS Kids shows, which have an original run, then go into continuous repeats until getting dropped by PBS or sold to another network, Sesame Street has created many new episodes every season since its debut Nov. 10, 1969. American teachers now expect children to arrive on the first day of school knowing the basics about letters, numbers, and language. "Kindergarten now does what first grade used to do," creator Joan Ganz Cooney has said, "and I think that's directly due to Sesame Street." International versions have changed Sesame Street to be more relevant to their culture and environments. They adjust the unique American inner city, with a cast made up mainly of Muppets, African-Americans, Spaniards and Chinese to reflect their own lifestyles. For example, Canada's Sesame Park features a small suburban town inhabited by folks like an otter and a bear, a bush pilot, a disabled child in a wheel-chair and her cat and Russia's Ulitsa Sesame set in a Russian dvor (courtyard) has a 9-foot tall tree spirit who has his joyous and problem-solving Muppet friends. No show can help in tumultuous or troubled times like Sesame Street. For example: • The Israelis and the Palestinians have now merged their independent spin-offs, to help teach the fighting cultures to accept each other for who they are, not what they have done in the past. • The original American Sesame Street helped children deal with the incidents of 9-11 • On the week of October 4-8, 2004, Sesame Workshop actually dug up reruns of Sesame Street episodes from its 32nd season, in which a hurricane plundered the neighborhood. This move was to come to grips with those disabused by the four hurricanes that struck Florida in a six-week span the previous August and September. It also sent a message about the news' propensity for covering violent acts. • The current South African government has not taken much action on the matters of HIV and AIDS, so in 2003, the South African version of Sesame Street added in a 5-year-old girl monster who manages to go about daily life with ease, even though she intercepted HIV through a blood transfusion shortly after birth. This led to an American backlash, even though her exposure in the States has always been restricted to sesameworkshop.org. Undoubtedly, she is the hardest-edged Muppet since Jim Henson's ill-fated "Creatures from the Planet Gorch" on Saturday Night Live's first season. • No other puppet than a Muppet, namely Elmo, could be taken seriously when asking America's congressional Education Appropriations Subcommittee for more funding to school music programs, so that "when Elmo goes to school, there will be the instruments to play." (Unfortunately, Newt Gingrich's Congress chose instead to divert to Sesame Street production funds from other PBS series. Among the casualties was one of Sesame Street's godchildren, Ghostwriter.) •In the mid-70s, they introduced Linda Bove, a deaf actress playing a deaf librarian that lives a life equal to all the rest of the area's inhabitants. Please note that Sesame Street's air time varies between various PBS stations in America. In recent years, a few PBS stations have dropped the show (including WNYE in New York, whose last airing was in June 2003). sesame street even had a touring show, SESAME STREET LIVE,which has just recently celebrated 25 years of performing. Characters Cookie Monster Cookie Monster has always had a passion for cookies, gobbling them up whenever he can. However, in order to promote healthy eating habits, Cookie Monster recently learned that cookies are a "sometime" food. So now, Cookie Monster also eats fruits and vegetables in addition to his trademark snack. Elmo Elmo is a cute little red monster, who wants to know more about the world he is growing up in. Oscar the Grouch Oscar lives in a dustbin, sure its not the most hygienic of places, but Oscar isn't the most hygienic of creatures. He likes to cause mischief but also enjoys learning. Ernie and Bert Best friends and room-mates, both showing us how people get along with each other and how sometimes you may even fall-out with your best friend. The Count The Count, would teaches us to count, whether it be really difficult numbers or easy numbers, the Counts thing is maths and counting, and he sure is good at it. Courage the Cowardly Dog

Courage the Cowardly Dog was an abandoned dog and was found by his owner Muriel who lives in the middle of Nowhere, Kansas with her husband Eustace Bagge. Eustace is a failed farmer who farms no more. His most prized object is his old truck. He is usually watching his old black and white televison and is always asking for his meal. He is crazy about his red chair. Muriel loves to sit in her rocking chair watch her favorite show (not mentioned what it's called), cook, play her sitar, and enjoy talking with Courage. Eustace, on the other hand, dislikes Courage. He scares him with a mask. Courage is a dog almost afraid of everything and with the help of his computer he battles the villians and saves himself and his owners. They don't have any neighbors that live next door. Katz is the most common villian that is seen on the show, he thinks up wise traps to lure people into their doom. The bickering of Eustace, the old customs of Muriel, the action of the villians, and the humor of Courage make it a great show!moreless

Dexter's Laboratory

Dexter's Laboratory is the story of a young boy prodigy. Born with an extraordinary mind, Dexter has built his very own extremely high-tech and expansive laboratory in his room that NASA could only dream of. But Dexter has to keep his lab a secret for fear others will exploit it. Through out the years, Dexter has had to hide his lab from his parents and others but it is no easy task. All Dexter wants is to spend all the time he can inventing new things in his lab, but between his stupid and annoying older sister Dee Dee constantly barging into his lab and tearing up the place and his arch enemy and rival genius Mandark constantly tiring to take over his lab, Dexter's life is anything but easy. Dexter's Laboratory was originally premiered on Cartoon Network as part of the inaugural, Space Ghost hosted, "World Premiere Toons" before becoming a feature with two full shorts on the regular series, a.k.a. the What a Cartoon Show, it eventually became a series itself. Characters: Dexter - Dexter is the big guy here to spite his short size. Dexter's IQ is enough to rival his role model, Albert Einstein. Dexter is an impressionable little boy who loves action. He is always looking for a fight in his giant Robo-Dexter or against his rival, Mandark and when he isn't doing that or working in his lab, he is playing with his action figures or watching TV. You would be hard pressed to see Dexter outside unless he is doing some sort of experiment or fighting some sort of evil. But other than all that, Dexter spends all his time in his lab. Dexter is constantly working on something new and building on to the lab. So much in fact that he has some inventions he can't even remember making and there are parts of the lab he doesn't know anything about. Naturally, Dexter is the head of his class much to the dismay of his fellow students. Dexter is pretty much devoid of friends but he isn't really bothered by it. As long as he can work in his lab, Dexter lives on. Dee Dee - Dexter's older sister is a very happy and delightful girl. Being taller and older than Dexter gives her a sisterly edge. Dee Dee is one of the few who knows about Dexter's lab as she stumbled upon in when the both were younger. But Dexter does not need to worry about her spilling the secret as no one would believe her even if she did. Dee Dee lives in her own little world complete with unicorns, imaginary dragons, and talking ponies. Her room is a pink nightmare of stuffed animals and dolls that Dexter must avoid at all costs. So naturally, no one really takes her seriously. She is a dancer and a singer but insists on practicing in the lab and wreaking the place in the process. She also has some athletic skill in most sports. But behind it all, Dee Dee is actually a very caring sister who does truly love her little brother. Mom - Mom is a happy home maker who can't stand filth in any form. You will be hard pressed not to find her wearing her yellow gloves. She, like Dexter, wears them everywhere. Mom always has dinner on the table by the time Dad gets home and is always willing for a bit of "playing around" with her husband at anytime. She gets the kids on the bus in the morning and off in the evening. Just your standard work at home Mom who sits on the brink of insanity at times. Dexter seems to take after her with her hard work ethic and inability to stop once she starts. She works in the kitchen much like Dexter works in the lab and hates it when Dad drops in to bother her. Dad - Dad is the typical working man. He leaves in the morning for work and comes home in the evening for dinner. He loves sports and working with his tools. He is a handy man and handles most of the hard work around the house. He likes to mess around with his family, especially Dexter. He enjoys annoying his wife in the kitchen and giving her a playful little pinch in the butt. His constant attempts to get Dexter out of his room and into a uniform of some sort usually are forfeit. He is an outdoors man as well. He loves to fish and camp. Dad is a very laid-back guy. Dee Dee seems to take after Dad with his sports skill, his love of the outside, and his thrive at being annoying. Mandark - Mandark is Dexter's rival and he is totally evil. Mandark is on the same intellectual level as Dexter and has proved it many times. He also has his own lab in his room though it doesn't seem to be a secret as Dexter's. Mandark's lab is bigger and better than Dexter's and he never misses a chance to reminded Dexter of that fact. Mandark's #1 ambition is to shut down Dexter's lab thus making him the only genius around. Mandark is always looking for a way to outdo Dexter in anyway possible. Mandark also has a major crush on Dee Dee which is a point that Dexter exploits all the time. His parents are actually peace loving and hippies in a sense. Created by Craig McCracken, The Powerpuff Girls has become popular with a broad audience. The Powerpuff Girls first incarnation was as a project for Craig McCracken's college class at The California Arts Institution in 1992. Three years later, the crew at Cartoon Network saw it and gave it its first pilot in 1995. Later on in the following year, The Powerpuff Girls had their second pilot, and finally a TV series in 1998.

The show is about three little girls who were created in a laboratory experiment by Professor Utonium, who combined sugar, spice, and everything nice in an effort to create the perfect little girl. However, the professor accidentally added some "Chemical X" into the mix, and the three girls were born from the resulting explosion. With their super charged powers, they challenge the forces of evil so that justice will prevail.

Characters:

Blossom - According to the closing credits' theme song, Blossom is "commander and the leader" of the Powerpuff Girls. The most intelligent and intellectual one of them all, she comes up with most of the plans to defeat the villains. She has very long red hair. At times she can be bossy but she always finds a way to keep her sisters from fighting each other. Her element is everything nice.

Bubbles - Bubbles is "the joy and the laughter" of the group. As the sweetest one of all, she is overly sensitive and just hates to fight with her sisters. Even though she may seem bubbly on the outside she really is tough on the inside and proves at times to be hardcore as her sisters. Her element is sugar.

Buttercup - Buttercup is "the toughest fighter." Her philosophy is to fight first and ask questions later. She is the most eager to defeat the villains on their missions. Though she seems tough all the time, she does have a sensitive side to her, which she rarely shows. Her element is spice.

Professor Utonium - The creator of The Powerpuff Girls, Professor Utonium is their father-figure who guides, teaches, and loves the girls.

Mojo Jojo - The most maniacal of all the villains, Mojo hates The Powerpuff Girls with a vengeance. He used to be known simply as Jojo, the Professor's lab assistant, but after The Powerpuff Girls' birth, the chemicals that created them affected him as well and mutated his brain. Ever since then, he's dedicated his life to crushing them and the world that loves them.

Him - Known as the evilest of evil, Him is a devil figure who despises The Powerpuff Girls. His plans to destroy them are typically the most psychologically twisted, but he always fails in his efforts.

Fuzzy Lumpkins - A country hillbilly. Fuzzy doesn't really care about world domination or taking over Townsville. He just wants people off his property, and turns into a dangerous monster that the girls must fight when anyone violates his personal space.

Princess Morebucks - A spoiled brat with a rotten temper. Princess is rich and gets anything she wants -- but when she meets The Powerpuff Girls, having super powers is what she wants most but can never have. She uses technology to act duplicitous, in hopes of either joining or destroying the Powerpuff Girls, but her efforts always fail.

The Mayor - The dumb, but lovable ruler of Townsville. He mindlessly watches over Townsville and when there's trouble he uses the hotline and alerts the Powerpuff Girls right away.

Ms. Bellum - The beautiful brains behind the Mayor. Whenever the Mayor does something stupid, she corrects it. He would be lost without her. She is also an important female role model for the Powerpuff Girls. In many ways, Ms. Bellum and the Powerpuff Girls are the most powerful people in Townsville.

Ms. Keane - A teacher at Pokey Oaks Kindergarten who is a mentor to The Powerpuff Girls. She is gentle and kind, and when there are problems in the oom, she shows The Powerpuff Girls a better solution without violence.

The Amoeba Boys - Three villains that desperately try to come up with crimes worthy of getting the Powerpuff Girls attention, so they can be considered super villains and go to jail. But they're just amoebas, and their efforts never really come to much.

The Gang Green Gang - A gang comprised of 5 mutated green-skinned teens. Their names are Ace, Big Billy, Grubber, Snake, and Lil' Arturo. Unlike most villains they are not that concerned about taking over Townsville. They just love to commit petty crimes.

Sedusa - Yet another villain, Sedusa is a medusa-like figure who has snake-like hair, the source of her superpowers. She is a master of disguise who uses her feminine wiles to seduce men into giving her want she wants and escaping crimes.

The Rowdyruff Boys - The evil male counterparts of The Powerpuff Girls, these three boys were originally created by Mojo Jojo, using snips, snails, and puppy-dog tails, which he mixed together in a disgusting prison toilet. Their powers are a fairly even match for the girls.

They all seem to have their own opinion when it comes to answering such questions like: Should the new parents continue to live in the Kyle garage? Should they get engaged or married? Will the new baby make Jr., who is terrified in his role as a new dad, act any smarter?

While trying to turn his son into a man, Michael begins to look at where his own life has taken him and wonders if he should make some changes. Jay, who also starts to question her purpose in life, pursues her educational goals and, along the way, decides to open a restaurant. Meanwhile, oldest daughter Claire's relationship with Tony, the odd and oddly endearing bible thumper, has endured. Claire is now a high school senior and is more than ready to do all the things that come along with that special time in life.

Little Kady feels a bit threatened by the new baby's presence, and her family is there to help her get over any insecurities. She continues her friendship with the young piano virtuoso, Franklin, who often complicates Michael's life. The boy sensed an opening in the family with Jr.'s impending graduation into adulthood, and Franklin is still trying to weasel his way into becoming the "good new son."

Michael can only hope his parental advice, mixed with witty humor, will steer his children to act responsibly. Through it all, Jr., Claire and Kady know they can turn to their father when they need his guidance. Sometimes it seems as though, even without their asking, Dad knows ahead of time what they might need, and he's only too happy to provide direction -- often to their chagrin.

Toon Lizzie- Lizzie's alter ego, Toon Lizzie tells us what Lizzie is really thinking but is to afraid to say. Her sassy and sharp-tongued attitude is a contrast to everything Lizzie isn't. If only Lizzie was brave to tell it like Toon Lizzie, things would be very interesting.

Rugrats

In the year 1989, two married parents named Gsapo Csupo and Arlene Klasky made the pilot for the show; their baby son, Brendon, was their inspiration to create the Rugrats. After showing it to Nickelodeon they automatically liked it and turned it into a series; in three years, Rugrats had aired more than fifty episodes. With a total of sixty five episodes they stopped making new episodes and Rugrats was shown in primetime in 1994; after that, the popularity of the show increased. Nickelodeon realized what good ratings they had and they decided to air brand new episodes of Rugrats in 1997; it was so popular that it had its first movie to be shown in theaters the following year featuring a new Rugrat named Dil. After the movie, they aired even more new episodes, including Dil with them on the show; then again in the year 2000, Nickelodeon made a second movie for the Rugrats, giving Chuckie a stepmom and featuring another new Rugrat named Kimi. More new episodes aired after that with Kimi and in the year 2001, Nick had big plans for the show. With Rugrats in their tenth year, so Arlene Klasky and Nickelodeon decided to make the Rugrats ten years older in their anniversary special, "All Growed Up;" this episode was the most viewed Rugrats-related episode. Originally, there were only four young rugrats who would sit in their playpen watching the world go by. The fearless leader of the group was Tommy Pickles, a resourceful baby who hides a plastic screwdriver in his diaper so that they can leave the pen. His best friend was Chuckie, a fearful, red-haired toddler who reluctantly agreed to venture out into the open, unsafe areas of the house. There were also the twins Phil and Lil who were always ready for any new challenge. Leaving the safety of their own playpen, the children would explore their surroundings and try to make sense out of what the adults are doing. Some of the most interesting characters were the parents and Tommy and Angelica's grandfather who would always fall asleep when taking care of the children. The parents' comments are so genuine that they bring a sense of reality to the show. This mystical, high-adventure series with choked full of current comedy references is based on the ancient mythical Xiaolin martial arts inspired by Chinese monks thousands of years ago. Omi, a young, gifted monk-in-training from the Xiaolin Temple, must show his fellow trainees - J-pop hipster girl Kimiko, flashy, street smart Brazilian Raimundo and Texas Kung Fu cowboy Clay - around the world to find and protect sacred ancient artifacts. These sacred objects with supernatural powers called the Shen-Gong-Wu are keys to controlling the powers of good and evil. These can only be captured after an extreme, gravity-defying, martial art-inspired "double dare" showdown occurs. Challenging the trainees is evil boy genius Jack Spicer and his custom-built robot army, along with the ancient witch Wuya - all competing for these objects in extreme Xiaolin Showdowns. It is a tight race - for the one who gathers all of the Shen-Gong-Wu will become an unstoppable force for good ... or evil! Let's go Xiaolin Showdown! Note: A Xiaolin Showdown starts after saying, "Gong Yi Tan Pai," which means "go" in Chinese. Character Guide Omi - An excitable, young monk-in-training who is the leader of the Xiaolin team. Omi is an orphan and has lived at the Xiaolin Temple his whole life. He sets his heart to finding the scattered pieces of the Shen-Gong-Wu, and will have a showdown with any enemy that gets in his way of doing so. Besides teaching his new students about the Shen-Gong-Wu pieces and martial arts, Omi will always learn something from them too. Special Technique: Tornado Strike. Kimiko - She is a rich and sometimes snotty girl. Born and raised in Tokyo, she has a very wealthy background, and sometimes likes to show off her valuables. However, she proves herself worthy when it comes to battle. She tells the others not to pick on Omi, and immediately befriends the young monk, sticking to his side at all times. Kimiko possesses the element of fire. Special Technique: Judallet Flip. Raimundo - He doesn't seem all that nice when we first meet him because he picks on Omi and has a little bit of a bully in him. He is more worried about what his new room looks like than finding the sacred Shen-Gong-Wu objects. However, this Brazilian circus star is helpful in battle as he shows what he can do to kick evil's butt. Raimundo possesses the element of wind. Special Technique: Typhoon Boom. Clay - A cowboy from Texas that knows a thing or two about Kung Fu. He is more loyal to Omi than the rest of the team. He uses his cowboy-like skills to fight in battle and teaches Omi, little by little, how to properly beat the bad guys. He has a steady approach when fighting in battle. Never in a hurry unless he's worried about finding the next Shen-Gong-Wu. Clay possesses the element of earth. Special Technique: Seismic Kick. Master Fung - He is Omi's teacher. He believes Omi will turn out to be a great monk, and, therefore, gave Omi a band of new students to teach and help find the ancient Shen-Gong-Wu objects before evil gets a chance to. He is also a mentor to the students, and often guides them in their travels. When Omi and the others are having trouble in their adventures, Master Fung always provides good lessons to help them in the right direction. Dojo Kanojo Cho - He may look four feet long, but Dojo is really a fourty foot long fire-breathing dragon! He is the Xiaolin Temple guardian and has been guarding the ancient Shen-Gong-Wu scroll for thousands of years. Dojo is also used for transportation to take Omi and his friends to the locations of the Shen-Gong-Wu pieces. He feels like he's been demoted from temple guardian to baby-sitter, though. He is Omi's guardian and is somewhat of a trainer to him during showdowns. He's also the only dragon that can sniff out the Shen-Gong-Wu to their exact location even when they're many miles away. Jack Spicer - The wannabe bad guy that dresses in goth clothing and is bent on world domination. He has a bad attitude, and will always chew out the people who don't agree with what he thinks is best. He stumbles upon the spirit of Wuya, the evil witch, who tells him that he needs to find the missing Shen-Gong-Wu objects before Omi and the rest do. If Jack can't take on Omi by himself, then he relies on his evil Jack-bot minions to help stop them. He is set on finding the missing objects so he can carry out his plans on ruling the world! Wuya - Once an evil witch, but was defeated by Grandmaster Dashi in the very first Xiaolin Showdown. As a result, she was cast into a wooden puzzlebox to be locked away in for 1500 years. Now, she's an evil spirit that can't take physical form and must enlist Jack to help find the missing objects. Wuya tells Jack what to do when he comes face-to-face with Omi and his team, but most of the time Jack just sends the robots to do his dirty work. Caillou

"Growing Up is the Greatest Adventure of All" Welcome to the Caillou guide at TV.com! This show is about the life of a young bald boy named Caillou, his family and his friends. It is based on the books by Christine L'Heureux and Helene Despeteaux, which is highly popular in the Quebec area in Canada. There are actually two versions of the show. The first version premiered in late 1997, is only 5 minutes in length, consists of 65 episodes, and is fully animated. The plotline of this version is that a grandmother reads her grandchildren a Caillou book. While this version enjoys success in some countries outside the US, it was never formally aired in the US. The second version, which premiered in late 2000, has the show exended to 30 minutes, and has puppets, music and live action segments thrown in. The animation parts, however, are a mixture of the first version of the show with the "grandma reading to kids" part of the story lopped off and some new stories (the stories are completely original as of the U.S. second season.) You can usually tell when you're watching a story lifted from the first version because in these, Caillou wears a non-descript dull-grey shirt rather than the bright-yellow one he wears in the newer segments. It premiered in the US and is now airing side-by-side with repeats of the old version in Canada. It is also aired around the world, although some parts of the world still air the old version. In 2006, Caillou debuted even more new episodes. These new episodes now feature fantasy segments, but no longer any puppet segments or musical numbers performed by real children. Instead, Caillou performs a song in-between the second and third story segments of each episode. These new episodes have now finished their run, but if you missed any, watch for upcoming repeats on PBS. Both versions of the show are known to be available in 2 languages - French and English. The show is produced by Cookie Jar animation in Canada, known in older seasons as CINAR. It is available in Dolby Surround and with Close Captioning on selected networks. Note 1:The old (5-minute) version is listed in this guide as Season 1 episodes, while the new (30-minute) version are listed as episodes from Season 2 onwards. Also, due to the varying runtimes, the runtime entry is omitted on purpose. Note 2: The network in the information section was formerly Teletoon, as this was the first network to pick up the show. It has been changed to PBS to reflect that the airdates listed in the guide for the newer (and current) episodes of show reflect the dates that the program aired on PBS.
