Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Arcee, Ratchet, Bulkhead, and the rest of the Autobots must fight against the Decepticons. Megatron is back with a new element and Team Prime must get ready for war. They must also look over Jack, Miko, and Raf, three kids who found out about the Autobots. Broadcast History: "Transformers Prime" originally aired the first two episodes of its five-part series premiere as a sneak peek airing on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 4:00pm (ET). The remaining three parts of the premiere aired the following Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 6:30pm (ET). The animated series returned on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 6:30pm (ET). The series moved to its new timeslot on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 7:00pm (ET). On Saturday September 17, 2011, new episodes premiered at the series' new timeslot of 8:30pm (ET). Season 1 ended on October 15, 2011. The second season premiered on Saturday February 18, 2012 at 8:30pm (ET) on The Hub. New episodes continued to premiere in that timeslot until May 26, 2012. The series returned after a break with a new day and time of Fridays at 7:00pm (ET) on August 24, 2012. Season 2 ended on November 2, 2012. The third and final season, entitled "Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters", premiered Friday March 22, 2013 at 7:30pm (ET) on The Hub. Spider-Man: The Animated Series

FOX (ended 1998)

Imagine being able to sense danger, crawl any wall, be strong enough to bend steel, and have more agility than any other human? For Peter Parker, this is a fact. Except he doesn't think of it as a gift. In his final year of High School, Peter Parker was bitten by an irradiated spider. After brief hallucinations, Peter wakes up with incredible powers--much like that of a spider. Thus, to make some extra cash, Peter takes on the persona of Spider-Man, and tries to pursue a career as a pro wrestler. When he witnesses a robbery, he lets the criminal escape, simply because "it's not his problem". Then, when his dear Uncle Ben is killed, Peter finds that the murderer is none other than the criminal he failed to stop before. Now, Peter uses his powers to stop crime, as he learns that "With great power, comes great responibility". Beginning in November of 1994, John Semper and crew launched the most accurate portrayal of Peter Parker to be animated to date. Where previous animated incarnations focused on action, this version provided the same three dimensional Peter Parker found in the comics. Complete with the familiar supporting cast, a hapless lovelife, doting Aunt May, and grumpy J. Jonah Jameson, the show places Peter during his college years at ESU. In the 65 episodes, Spidey faced almost all of the major Spidey villains, old and new (except for the absence of the Sandman). Even the comic's second stringers like Rocket Racer, Madame Web, and the Prowler have appeared on the show! It was later followed by the somewhat weaker, short lived series Spider-Man Unlimited, which followed Spidey's adventures on counterearth. Spider-Man Airing Times Saturdays at 11:00am on ABC Family Every Night at 10:30pm on Toon Disney Each episode airs in their order of production, not original airdate. Therefore, the reruns are all in the correct order. Spider-Man is currently part of Disney's new Jetix block. Note: These times are for the US only, in Eastern Time Zone. Character Bios Peter Parker/Spider-Man: Peter is a kind of shy and quiet guy. He's a science-wiz, and he has a crush on his best friend Mary-Jane Watson. Peter also works for the Daily Bugle, a local newspaper, for minimum wage. But whenever trouble calls, he transforms into his web-slinging alter-ego Spider-Man. As Spidey, he has the power to sense danger, crawl walls, has super strength and super agility, and is armed with spider tracers, a powerful light on his belt, and artificial webbing. Mary-Jane Watson: MJ is a gorgeous red head that has always lived next door to Peter, but doesn't actually meet him until their blind date. After breif on-again off-again relationships with both Peter and Harry Osborn, she eventually marries Peter. Unfortunately, after a battle with the Green Goblin, she disappears, and the one who returns may not necessarily be who she thinks she is. Although she's always the enemies' first target, she remains safe due to the work of Spider-Man. Aunt May: Aunt May is Peter's elderly aunt. She's been taking care of Peter since his parents passed away when he was young. She always supports Peter when he is in need, and Peter does the same. J. Jonah Jameson: Old JJ is the grumpy-yet-quick witted editor of the Daily Bugle. For some reason, he has always hated Spidey, considering him a "menace". Eventually, it is revealed that his wife was gunned down by a masked man, which may explain his hate toward Spider-Man--a masked man. He also has a son, John Jameson, an astronaut. Felicia Hardy/Black Cat: Felicia began as the rich and sometimes spoiled daughter of the Hardys'. She and Peter once dated (pretty impressive on Peter's part), but her life changed dramatically when she discovered that her dad was once a spy called "The Cat". When she got involved with his past, she was caught in an experiment that trasformed her into an agile, strong beauty called "The Black Cat". She now occasionally accompanies Spidey whenever he needs her, but her real interest is her love Micheal Morbius, who now fights vampires alongside Blade. Harry Osborn: Wealthy son of industrialist Norman Osborn, Harry is one of Peter's best friends. He seems somewhat wimpy at first, but he has dark secrets. He has dated Mary-Jane and shared an apartment with Peter. He later becomes the next Green Goblin (see below). Robbie Robertson: Robbie works at the Bugle with Peter, and is JJ's right hand man. He is married with one son, who occasionally gets in trouble, but overall he has a happy, strong family. Despite his boss's beliefs, he always stands up for both Spidey and Peter. Dr. Curt Connors: Dr. Connors is a brilliant scientist who works with neogenics. Because of a war injury, he only has one arm. He always helps Spidey when in need, sometimes even when he may be in danger. He has a wife and one young son, both of which who have his back. Dr. Connors also shares the alterrnate identity as the Lizard (see below). Enemy Bios Dr. Otto Octavius/Dr. Octopus: Dr. Otto was a very good and smart scientist, but when and experiment goes wrong he becomes eight-handed Dr. Octopus. He is one of Spider-Man's most deadly villains. Wilson Fisk/Kingpin: Wilson Fisk is the notorious crime-boss also known as Kingpin. He is cause of almost everything that is going wrong when he is around. Him and his "Henchmen" will do anything to destroy Spider-Man. Eddie Brock/Venom: Eddie Brock used to be the Daily Bugle's best reporters, that is, until Spider-Man continued to humiliate him. He was subsequently fired from his job and blamed Spider-Man for it. Later, Brock comes in contact with Spider-Man's black costume and takes on the new persona of Venom. As Venom, Brock possesses all of Spider-Man's powers, minus spider-sense, but to a much higher degree. Cletus Kassidy/Carnage: When Venom's symbiote spawned, it found the perfect owner: serial killer/psychopath Cletus Kassidy. Kassidy's insane mind is what powers the almost invincible alter-ego of Carnage. Though he has most of the same weaknesses of Venom, his powers involve morphing his hands into blades, shooting out sharp symbiote knives, and much more. He enjoys agitating Venom by calling him "Dad". Norman Osborn/Green Goblin I: Norman is the wealthy industrialist that owns "Oscorp". He has a rigid relationship with his son, Harry. After being exposed to toxic chemicals, Norman gains enhanced strength, but the chemicals also cause his sanity to erode away. When he becomes paranoid and close to insane, he dawns the Green Goblin armor, a hi-tech suit equipped with super bombs, a powerful glider, a who knows what else. He is one of Spider-Man's toughest foes, mainly emotionally, because his son is one of Peter's best friends. Harry Osborn/Green Goblin II: After the disappearance of his father, Harry is haunted by nightmares and hallucinations--and his inner demons are released. Somehow his father reaches him from the other dimension, and leads him to the Goblin gear, where he becomes the next Green Goblin, with the same suit and technology as the previous one. He blames Spider-Man for the "death" of his father, and will stop at nothing to get revenge. Mac Gargan/The Scorpion: Mac Gargan was hired by Jameson to spy on Peter Parker to find out how he gets those spectacular shots of Spider-Man. After failing miserably at it, Jameson comes up with a better use for Gargan...by subjecting him to a process similar to how Spider-Man got his powers. Gargan was bombarded by radiation and scorpion DNA, and emerged as the natural enemy of the spider. Thus, the Scorpion was born. The radiation began to slowly drive the Scorpion mad, and now seeks a way to turn himself back to normal. Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard: After trying to grow his severed arm back by using Lizard DNA, Dr. Connors accidentally transforms himself into the ravenous, bloodthirsty, Lizard monster. Now he transforms into it whenever he is angry, but as long as he stays calm, he can control the beast within.moreless

The Fairly OddParents is a totally out-of-this-world cartoon about a 10-year old boy named Timmy whose life isn't exactly normal. The Fairly OddParents has been shown from three different channels throughout the world: Jetix, the Disney Channel, and on Nickelodeon. Being bossed around by his bossy babysitter, Timmy can't stand it anymore, so his Fairy Godparents are there to help. His Fairy Godparents go by the name of Cosmo, Wanda, and baby poof who grant Timmy's wishes. Of course, these fairies aren't exactly geniuses, epsecially Cosmo. Watch their wacky adventures you'll wish for more! Like fellow Nicktoon SpongeBob SquarePants, the show has become hugely popular and has a large, devoted fan base encompassing all age groups. Character Guide: Timmy Turner - Timmy, an average 10-year-old boy, was miserable because of his dimwit parents and Vicky, his evil babysitter. One day, he was playing with a magic 8-ball and a married fairy couple named Cosmo and Wanda appeared. When they became Timmy's fairy godparents, his misery ended. Cosmo Wanda - Cosmo and Wanda are the married couple of fairy godparents that are assigned to Timmy Turner. They are several thousand years old, and have had many, many fairy godchildren. They grant wishes to Timmy so that he isn't miserable anymore. Poof - Poof is the only natural child of Cosmo and Wanda and is Timmy's fairy godbrother. He was born in the episode "Fairly Odd Baby", and has since become a regular character on the show. He is way too young to grant wishes, but depending on his emotions, magical things happen. And sometimes, when Timmy grants a wish, he gets the wish wrong. Vicky - Vicky is an evil 16-year-old babysitter who constantly tortures Timmy and other kids. Her favorite things are money, torturing children, and watching TV. Denzel Q. Crocker - Mr. Crocker is Timmy's fairy-obsessed schoolteacher. He is also one of Timmy's arch-enemies. He strongly suspects that Timmy has fairy godparents, though when he tells people he believes in fairies, they think that he's crazy. Chester McBadbat - Chester is one of Timmy's best friends. He has braces on his teeth, which he once used to help Timmy win a contest. He lives in a run-down trailer with his dad, who wears a paper bag over his head because of the humiliation he faced as a lousy baseball player. A.J. - A.J., an African American, is Timmy's other best friend. He is the genius in Timmy's class, and also has a secret lab. Consequently, he sometimes gets jealous when someone else wins first place in a contest. A.J., like his dad, likes to invent things. Theme Song: Chorus: Timmy is an average kid that no one understands. Mom and Dad and Vicky always giving him commands. Vicky: Bed, twerp! Chorus: But doom and gloom up in his room is broken instantly, by his magic little fish who grant his every wish, 'cause in reality, they are his odd parents, fairly odd parents. Wanda: Wands and wings! Cosmo: Floaty crowny things! Chorus: Odd parents, fairly odd parents. Really mod, pea pod, buff bod, hot rod. Mitchel Musso and Emily Osment star as the friends of Miley who know her big secret and Jason Earles stars as Miley's brother. Characters: Miley: She doubles as a pop star, Hannah Montana! Not always being able to hang out with friends, she makes up for it in limos, premieres, and celebrity sightings! Miley tries to avoid the press and her screaming fans. She can use her pop star ability against others sometimes... Oliver: This cool, crazy, Casanova of Seaview Middle School is in love with Hannah Montana and worships her. He may always be just Oliver. He goes to any lengths to see Hannah including sneaking into her dressing room, getting in her drum, and going in through the limo roof! Oliver is Miley's friend. Lilly: Lilly is the loud, energetic friend of Miley. She enjoys all of the fun that being a pop star's friend brings. Though she still needs to adapt to being backstage, Hannah is there to keep her in line. Lilly is Miley's friend. Jackson: He may be the craziest one. Asking dad for money, impressing girls, (or at least trying) and doing everything the hard way is what he is all about. He is Miley's brother. Robbie: Miley's dad has to be the dad and the mom of the family which includes cleaning and discipline. But along with that, Robbie also tries to spend some time with the kids and be the cool parent. Then you should tune in to this hit animated series on the Disney Channels (including Disney XD) as this show can give you all sorts of ideas that two overly creative stepbrothers can come up with during each day to pass the time before school starts in the fall. Of course, in real life, all of them would be impossible to do in one day. But as the master builders they are, Phineas and Ferb are able to bring their grand inventions and structures to life within a few hours, have their fun, and prepare for their next thing to do the next day. In their blended family, Phineas and Ferb are stepbrothers and can come up with the ideas on what to build and do for fun. Phineas' teenage older sister Candace, regards most of what they do as dangerous and unsafe, and in most episodes, tries her best to bust them in their schemes to her mom, Linda Flynn, or occasionally, her stepfather Lawrence Fletcher. However, her efforts are mostly thwarted as the boys' grand structures or inventions miraculously disappear before either parent can see them before arriving home or wherever they're located. Most times, they disappear as a result of their pet, Perry the Platypus, whom unknown to anyone in the family is a secret agent. To the Flynn-Fletcher family, he's a simple-minded pet, but when he gets the opportunity and nobody is looking, he puts on his little fedora hat, sneaks into his secret lair under the family home via various methods, and gets his assignments from Major Monogram. Perry's nemesis is Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, an evil, but goofy scientist who comes up with various schemes of his own in efforts to rule the tri-state area of Danville, hometown of Phineas, Ferb, and company. Doofenshmirtz's schemes are as outrageous as the boys, as are the reasons he came up with them in the first place. But unlike, Phineas and Ferb, Heinz's efforts are usually unsuccessful as Perry is able to thwart the scientist's, and most times, the boys' and Perry's stories intertwine, leading to not just success for Perry, Phineas and Ferb and Doofenshmirtz's defeat, but Candace being denied the chance to bust her brothers. The cycle then starts again the following day in the summer.moreless

Welcome to the Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends guide at TV.com. The show is about a tank engine, Thomas, and his friends who live on the Island of Sodor. Together, the engines work on the railways under the supervision of Sir Topham Hatt, the "Fat Controller." Thomas The Tank Engine actually dates back to 1945, when the Reverend Wilbert Vere Awdry created The Railway Series to amuse his son Christopher, who was suffering from measles. His wife Margaret encouraged him to publish the stories and he did so, going on to add another book each year (except 1947 and 1971) until 1972. Wilbert's son Christopher later continued The Railway Series up to 40 books. In 1984 Britt Allcroft decided to turn the stories into a TV series with Ringo Starr as the narrator. He was replaced by Michael Angelis in 1991, who still narrates today. (Full Narrator listings below.) When the series was shown on PBS in the US, it was part of a show called Shining Time Station. 2 of the show's narrators played Mr. Conductor in the series, Ringo Starr in the earlier episodes and George Carlin later. Since the show ran from 1989 to 1993, only early episodes of Thomas are part of it. A note on writers: In the episode guide, the writers are as follows: If the episode is based on a Railway Series book by the Rev W Awdry, he will be credited as the writer. If the episode is based on a Railway Series book by Christopher Awdry, he will be credited as the writer. Looney Tunes is a show that reruns classic cartoons featuring Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety, Sylvester, Pepe le Pew, Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, Foghorn Leghorn and more. These classic characters were featured in 1000+ theatrical cartoons and many prime-time specials made for TV as well as numerous classic cartoon excerpts. Looney Tunes was originally aimed at an adult audience when it aired for the first time in 1955, but unfortunately it was censored. It eventually became a show for children known as The Bugs Bunny Show in 1960, which aired on ABC. Looney Tunes made it's way to Nickelodeon along with numerous Warner Bros. classic cartoons including some of their oldest black-and-whites and almost their complete canon of '60s cartoons. This show started in 1988 and ended in 1999. Now, the Boomerang block on Cartoon Network is the only place in the US where you can still see these timeless classic characters and their animated antics.moreless

Character Bios

Heat Blast - Comes from an alien race that lives on the sun rather than a planet. He can project bolts of fire from his hands and mouth, and create fireballs that he can either throw or roll. He also has the ability to absorb flames and heat, meaning he can put out a fire just as quickly as he starts one.

Powers/Strengths - Fireballs, absorption of heat/fire.

Weaknesses - Excess water.

Wildmutt - More animal than humanoid, he is a beastly alien with superhuman athletic abilities, and heightened senses of smell, hearing, and taste. He can also fire the quills on his back as projectiles with incredible accuracy. Even though he has no eyes, his lack of vision is supplemented by his hearing and smell, which works almost as well as actual vision (which appear as red figures against a green backdrop). Wildmutt cannot communicate verbally, but can growl, grunt, and make other similar noises.

Powers/Strengths - Sharp quills, athletic ability, heightened senses of smell, hearing, and taste.

Weaknesses - No sound or smell in surrounding areas.

Diamond Head - He's a crystalline alien whose body is harder than diamond, making him invulnerable to most physical attacks and allowing him to cut and slash through almost anything. He can also use his body to refract light and beam based weapons.

Powers/Strengths - Razor-sharp diamond shards, can refract light/beam-based weapons, ability to morph certain parts of his body into extremely sharp tools/weapons.

Weaknesses - Sonic-based attacks/weapons.

XLR8 - As the name states (pronounced like "accelerate"), he's a lizard-like alien that has the power to manipulate friction in order to gain acceleration, allowing him to move at incredible speeds. He may be fast, but he is not very strong compared to the other alien forms.

Powers/Strengths - Super speed (300 mph), able to manipulate friction, ability to run on almost any surface.

Weaknesses - Magnetic-based attacks/weapons.

Debut Episode - "And Then There Were 10"

Grey Matter - At a mere five inches tall, he's part of an alien race bred to enter complex machines and repair them from the inside. Consequently, he can squeeze through extremely small spaces. He's extremely smart, which gives Ben a boost in intelligence when he's in this form.

Powers/Strengths - Enhanced intelligence, ability to squeeze through small spaces, slimy skin allowing him to climb virtually anything.

Weaknesses - Strength-based opponents/enemies.

Debut Episode - "Washington B.C."

Four Arms - At 12-feet tall, he's an alien of extraordinary strength, and can jump high distances. Unfortunately, due to his body mass and his agility is declined and he is very clumsy.

Powers/Strengths - Super strength, armored skin, ability to create sonic waves when all four hands are clapped at once.

Weaknesses - Extremely quick opponents/enemies.

Debut Episode - "Washington B.C."

Stinkfly - He's a winged, insectoid alien and expert flier, able to pull off amazing acrobatic moves in midair. He can also take care of himself in flight, using his pincers and tail as weapons, as well as shooting slime from his eye-stalks. Much like Earth insects, he also has a tough exoskeleton, but very thin wings.

Powers/Strengths - Acrobatic flight, six pincer legs, very sharp tail, slime-shooting eye-stalks.

Weaknesses - Poisonous gases and water.

Debut Episode - "Washington B.C."

Ripjaws - This aquatic alien form is an extraordinary swimmer since he can breathe underwater and change his legs into a long tail with fins. He's remarkably fast and agile in the water and can fight with his claws or unhinge his powerful jaws to deliver a devastating bite.

Powers/Strengths - Underwater breathing, agility; powerful jaws and sharp claws.

Weaknesses - Dry land.

Debut Episode - "The Krakken"

Upgrade - A biomechanical alien with liquid metallic skin and a system of organic "circuits." He has the ability to merge with any technology and bring it to life with enhanced abilities.

Powers/Strengths - Positronic energy blasts, ability to merge with and upgrade technology.

Weaknesses - Corrosives (acids) and electromagnetic energy.

Batman: The Animated Series

Batman: the Animated Series was an animated series that premiered on September 5, 1992. The series was based on the popular Batman comics created by Bob Kane. The series focused on the adventures of Batman a dark vigilante hero who defends Gotham City from a variety of costumed villains that include The Joker, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, The Riddler, The Mad Hatter, Ra's Al Ghul, Bane, Killer Croc, Clayface, and The Clock King. Batman is the secret identity of millionaire playboy Bruce Wayne. The highly successful series merged revolutionary animation and great storytelling. Dora the Explorer

Dora the Explorer features the adventures of Dora, her monkey Boots, her Backpack and many other animated characters. In each episode, viewers help her to go an adventure in an animated world set inside a computer.

The third season of the program kicked off with "Dora's Star-Catching Adventure," introducing a new concept in which viewers interact with the show by searching for explorer-stars in each episode. A number of episodes are available in book form and on commercial video/DVD, including a couple direct-to-video releases. There are also a number of episodes and movies produced, but still unaired.

Dora the Exploreris currently in repeats on Nick Jr. and Noggin. Noggin airs the program every day including weekends at 3 and 4 P.M., but only shows first-season episodes. Nick Jr. shows episodes weekdays at 10 A.M., 11 A.M. and 1:30 P.M. and also occasionally organizes special showings in a marathon format. All repeats tend to be in a random order and all times listed are eastern.

Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman

Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman was a show that focused on Dr. Mike, a woman doctor in a time when that was unheard of. It started with her journey to Colorado Springs to be the town's physician after her father's death in 1868. The show focused around the town that she loved, treated and it also focused on the three children, Matthew (Chad Allen), Colleen (Erika Flores, later Jessica Bowman) and Brian Cooper (Shawn Toovey), whom she had to raise after their mother died from a rattle snake bite. In the later years, the show focused on Dr. Mike and Sully (Joe Lando) who got married and had a daughter towards the end of the shows successful run. There have been two movies made for television, and fans are gathering together in an effort that a third Dr. Quinn movie be produced.moreless

"To empower, to challenge, and build the self-esteem of preschoolers...all while making them laugh!" --- show slogan Blue's Clues celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2006. Blue gained a new baby brother who was later added to the series Blue's Room. The fun of the anniversary has ended, but you can continue to enjoy Blue's Clues in repeats on Noggin. Blue's Clues is a colorful and learning series that is targeted at the younger crowd, but can be enjoyed by all. Seasons 1-4 - It's Me, Steve! Have You Seen Blue, My Puppy? In the first four seasons of the program, host Steve Burns invited viewers daily into the Blue's Clues house to help him out, learn and have fun. From doing things like imitating Elvis Presley, to picking up a guitar and singing, acting like animals and more, Steve was always ready to do something funny and surprising. The show, was, and still is, based around the host looking for three clues that Blue provides by labeling them with a pawprint to figure something out. In a segment called "Blue Skidoo," Blue takes us into someplace that could be anything from a storybook world to a gameboard. Finally, "Mailtime" explores the theme of the episode using real kids. The program underwent many changes throughout the first four seasons of the show, including the release of a direct-to-video movie, the introduction of new characters such as Periwinkle and Cinnamon and even visits from occasional special guests. The schedule is highly variable, so keep an eye on listings for both Nick Jr. and Noggin. Additionally, many episodes of all versions of the program are available on commercial video and DVD. Season 5 - Joe Moves In In Season 5, long-time host Steve Burns left the program. The real Steve Burns began actively pursuing a musical career, while on the program it was said that he went to college. In order to fill in the role of host, the program introduced his "brother" Joe (Donovan Patton) to watch over the characters and play Blue's Clues in Steve's absence. Joe brings his own unique style to the program, from the colored shirts he wears that change from day-to-day, to his own personal interests, such as ducks. Season 6 - The Legend of the Blue Puppy In an episode shown in primetime viewers learned that Blue was born with a key that unlocks a playroom she can visit. In this playroom, Blue is transformed into a puppet. As a puppet, she can talk and interact with many new characters in the playroom, such as Rory the dinosaur, her stuffed friend Polka Dots, and a girl who goes by "Fred." Meanwhile, the show continues with Joe as the host and many of the normal features that viewers have come to know and love. Blue's Clues returned with a special episode in August 2006. This special episode celebrated the program's tenth anniversary. Cast listed in the guide as "Steve's Friends" or "Joe's Friends" are either additional voices or kids who appeared in Mailtime. These are listed under Co-Stars and are either one-shot guests, or sometimes recurring. Additional voices could be anything from a kid yelling "A Clue! A Clue!" to an auxiliary character such as a "Felt Friend." Additionally, a "Blue's Friends" section was added in later Season 6, for additional voices in "Blue's Room." Note that in Seasons 1 and 2, voices of regular characters also appears under "Steve's Friends." In Season 3, they are moved to a separate section, but it's a generic credits screen that doesn't reflect the characters that appear in the episode. From Season 4 onward, only voices actually used in the episode are credited. Blue's Clues currently has a number of DVD releases, but still no complete season releases, or anything more than basic special features, except for Blue's Big Musical Movie. Kim Possible

Disney Channel (ended 2007)

Disney's smash hit Kim Possible is focused on the everyday life of a high school teen. Kim Possible has to find a balance with everything school related, and battling super villains on a regular basis. Of course, all heroes need a wisecracking, clumsy partner. Kim is no exception. The comic relief of the heroic duo, Ron Stoppable, is always there for Kim, though his pet and second best friend Rufus, the naked mole rat, is always there to help out the duo when the going gets rough.

Character Guide:

Kim Possible: High school cheerleader by day, crime fighter by. . . well, day as well. She still has to be home by curfew, after all. Kim has no secret identity, which makes her that much more of a hero in that people can relate to her and don't seem to make a big deal out of it, mostly at her insistence. Her fiery red hair is a symbol of her attitude that is best summed up by the phrase, "I can do anything." She is stubborn, strong-willed, and has a fuse shorter than a grenade with a three second delay. Despite all of this, however, she is extremely humble, refusing to take credit for her truly amazing actions.

Ron Stoppable: Kim's best friend, partner, and in fourth season boyfriend. His nonconformist "never be normal" philosophy is applied to all facets of his life, and he has taught Kim a thing or two about peer pressure. He takes great pride in eating, and is the proud inventor of the Naco. Unlike Kim, who refuses to take credit for her actions, Ron is, as Kim puts it, "prone to big-headiness." While he's a bit of a glory hound, he always shares it with Kim (often to her chagrin) instead of soaking up the limelight. His unwavering devotion to Kim is simultaneously his greatest strength and his greatest weakness, for while it is the trait that makes her take notice of him, it also leads to her taking him for granted more often than not.

Dr. Drakken: For a supergenius, Theodore "Drew" P. Lipsky aka Dr. Drakken is pretty stupid. He has the brains to come up with some great ideas, but he lacks the patience it takes to iron out all the kinks and get his inventions fully functional. If it wasn't for Shego, he would have been out of the villain game a long time ago.

Shego: Essentially Kim's dark reflection. Both are smart, athletic, attractive, not to mention they both have green eyes. The only difference is that Shego has raven black hair as opposed to Kim's auburn locks, and the fact that she chooses to use her powers for evil rather than good. And boy, does she have powers. Her fiery personality is illustrated perfectly in her ability to encapsulate her hands in green plasma, as well as shoot these bursts of plasma at whomever she chooses. Shego takes great pride in sidelining Drakken's megalomaniacal ranting with the occasional snide remark and attempts to act as the voice of reason but fails utterly because Drakken is, well, insane. Why exactly she sticks around other than that is uncertain, but it may have to do with some feelings that may forever go unexplored.

Wade: As Kim's gadget guy and operator of her website, Wade is an invaluable addition to Team Possible. Despite only being 13, he holds several PhDs and can type at over 300 words per minute. He is a genius at all things technical, and proves invaluable as a support operator. He would be world renowned if he ever left his room, but the fact that he has only left it once shows signs that Wade suffers from agorophobia, the fear of going out into public.

Mr. Dr. Possible: As a rocket scientist, he's a living analogy for intelligence. He views women as equals with their own opinions rather than as underlings to be ordered around, and for this reason he is a great father to Kim and lets her live her own life, but he has letting go issues. He just can't handle the fact thas someday somebody will take away "his" Kimmie-cub, who will forever remain four to him. But with Kim now dating Ron, he'll have to let go sooner or later.

Mrs. Dr. Possible: Top brain surgeon and mother to Kim, Mrs. Dr. Possible has yet another analogy attached to her name. She is essentially Kim all grown up. Smart, independent, attractive, and not afraid to have a little fun, the Possible matriarch is a little more lenient than her husband, but she still enforces the rules when they truly matter.

Jim & Tim Possible: Kim's twin brothers or "Tweebs" as she calls them. They are super smart, but they use their intelligence more to annoy their sister than anything else. Despite the annoyance that they can be, twin supergeniuses can be quite useful on a mission.

Bonnie: If Shego is Kim's dark reflection, then Bonnie is Kim's polar opposite. Her stuck up, pessimistic, OCD, holier-than-thou attitude makes her the typical cheerleader. She makes it her mission to make Kim's social life miserable, but ends up failing most of the time.

Monique: Essentially a guidance counselor in the form of an African American teen. "Wise beyond her years" is the understatement of the century when it comes to Kim's best female friend. She has the uncanny ability to identify the source of and solution to other people's problems, which means she'll make an excellent therapist some day. Like Kim, Monique stands up for herself and refuses to let herself be controlled, earning a steady salary as a salesgirl at Club Banana. She is also an avid wrestling fan, which gives her and Ron something in common.moreless

The Andy Griffith Show is definitely a TV classic. It ran from 1960 to 1968, producing 249 episodes.

The main character, Andy (Andy Griffith), was a widowed father of the polite little boy named Opie (Ron Howard) and is a sheriff, who works with nervous and very suspecting Barney Fife (Don Knotts). They all live in the nice southern town of Mayberry. But, Mayberry can get a little dangerous when the town drunk Otis Campbell (Hal Smith) is on the loose. Thelma Lou (Betty Lynn) is Barney's sweetheart, although Andy had to help him describe his feelings to her. Aunt Bee (Frances Bavier) is the very loving and caring, but stern housekeeper for Andy and Opie. Gomer Pyle (Jim Nabors) is the bone-head, thoughtless, but humorous character. He is a gas attendant. Goober Pyle (George Lindsey) is Gomer Pyle's cousin. They are very alike, you could say, and arrives in Mayberry when Gomer decides to enlist in the United States Marine Core. The show had two spin-offs: Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C. and Mayberry R.F.D.

Sesame Street is a widely recognized and perpetually daring experiment in educational children's programming. This show has taken popular-culture and turned it upside-down. The fast-paced advertisements that had parents of the new era worrying for their children were the basis for the original format of this show. The show has often satirized pop culture, and made itself easier for parents to watch along too. And thus, the positive impact this show has had on modern society is beyond another. No show is more recognized the world over by as many generations and walks of life. Shown in its original format or with changes to reflect a regional education focus, Sesame Street is now seen in over 140 countries. The show that Entertainment Weekly named the "20th Best Ever Show" has changed the education scene to focus on "entertainment." This has turned out to be a valuable theory that not only helps the medicinal learning go down easier, but it also increases the effectiveness of the information being taught. In an almost backwards sense, the show stays fresh by recycling programming ideas every three years, by which time a new group of kids is watching. Unlike most PBS Kids shows, which have an original run, then go into continuous repeats until getting dropped by PBS or sold to another network, Sesame Street has created many new episodes every season since its debut Nov. 10, 1969. American teachers now expect children to arrive on the first day of school knowing the basics about letters, numbers, and language. "Kindergarten now does what first grade used to do," creator Joan Ganz Cooney has said, "and I think that's directly due to Sesame Street." International versions have changed Sesame Street to be more relevant to their culture and environments. They adjust the unique American inner city, with a cast made up mainly of Muppets, African-Americans, Spaniards and Chinese to reflect their own lifestyles. For example, Canada's Sesame Park features a small suburban town inhabited by folks like an otter and a bear, a bush pilot, a disabled child in a wheel-chair and her cat and Russia's Ulitsa Sesame set in a Russian dvor (courtyard) has a 9-foot tall tree spirit who has his joyous and problem-solving Muppet friends. No show can help in tumultuous or troubled times like Sesame Street. For example: • The Israelis and the Palestinians have now merged their independent spin-offs, to help teach the fighting cultures to accept each other for who they are, not what they have done in the past. • The original American Sesame Street helped children deal with the incidents of 9-11 • On the week of October 4-8, 2004, Sesame Workshop actually dug up reruns of Sesame Street episodes from its 32nd season, in which a hurricane plundered the neighborhood. This move was to come to grips with those disabused by the four hurricanes that struck Florida in a six-week span the previous August and September. It also sent a message about the news' propensity for covering violent acts. • The current South African government has not taken much action on the matters of HIV and AIDS, so in 2003, the South African version of Sesame Street added in a 5-year-old girl monster who manages to go about daily life with ease, even though she intercepted HIV through a blood transfusion shortly after birth. This led to an American backlash, even though her exposure in the States has always been restricted to sesameworkshop.org. Undoubtedly, she is the hardest-edged Muppet since Jim Henson's ill-fated "Creatures from the Planet Gorch" on Saturday Night Live's first season. • No other puppet than a Muppet, namely Elmo, could be taken seriously when asking America's congressional Education Appropriations Subcommittee for more funding to school music programs, so that "when Elmo goes to school, there will be the instruments to play." (Unfortunately, Newt Gingrich's Congress chose instead to divert to Sesame Street production funds from other PBS series. Among the casualties was one of Sesame Street's godchildren, Ghostwriter.) •In the mid-70s, they introduced Linda Bove, a deaf actress playing a deaf librarian that lives a life equal to all the rest of the area's inhabitants. Please note that Sesame Street's air time varies between various PBS stations in America. In recent years, a few PBS stations have dropped the show (including WNYE in New York, whose last airing was in June 2003). sesame street even had a touring show, SESAME STREET LIVE,which has just recently celebrated 25 years of performing. Characters Cookie Monster Cookie Monster has always had a passion for cookies, gobbling them up whenever he can. However, in order to promote healthy eating habits, Cookie Monster recently learned that cookies are a "sometime" food. So now, Cookie Monster also eats fruits and vegetables in addition to his trademark snack. Elmo Elmo is a cute little red monster, who wants to know more about the world he is growing up in. Oscar the Grouch Oscar lives in a dustbin, sure its not the most hygienic of places, but Oscar isn't the most hygienic of creatures. He likes to cause mischief but also enjoys learning. Ernie and Bert Best friends and room-mates, both showing us how people get along with each other and how sometimes you may even fall-out with your best friend. The Count The Count, would teaches us to count, whether it be really difficult numbers or easy numbers, the Counts thing is maths and counting, and he sure is good at it. Courage the Cowardly Dog was an abandoned dog and was found by his owner Muriel who lives in the middle of Nowhere, Kansas with her husband Eustace Bagge. Eustace is a failed farmer who farms no more. His most prized object is his old truck. He is usually watching his old black and white televison and is always asking for his meal. He is crazy about his red chair. Muriel loves to sit in her rocking chair watch her favorite show (not mentioned what it's called), cook, play her sitar, and enjoy talking with Courage. Eustace, on the other hand, dislikes Courage. He scares him with a mask. Courage is a dog almost afraid of everything and with the help of his computer he battles the villians and saves himself and his owners. They don't have any neighbors that live next door. Katz is the most common villian that is seen on the show, he thinks up wise traps to lure people into their doom. The bickering of Eustace, the old customs of Muriel, the action of the villians, and the humor of Courage make it a great show!moreless

Dexter's Laboratory is the story of a young boy prodigy. Born with an extraordinary mind, Dexter has built his very own extremely high-tech and expansive laboratory in his room that NASA could only dream of. But Dexter has to keep his lab a secret for fear others will exploit it. Through out the years, Dexter has had to hide his lab from his parents and others but it is no easy task. All Dexter wants is to spend all the time he can inventing new things in his lab, but between his stupid and annoying older sister Dee Dee constantly barging into his lab and tearing up the place and his arch enemy and rival genius Mandark constantly tiring to take over his lab, Dexter's life is anything but easy. Dexter's Laboratory was originally premiered on Cartoon Network as part of the inaugural, Space Ghost hosted, "World Premiere Toons" before becoming a feature with two full shorts on the regular series, a.k.a. the What a Cartoon Show, it eventually became a series itself. Characters: Dexter - Dexter is the big guy here to spite his short size. Dexter's IQ is enough to rival his role model, Albert Einstein. Dexter is an impressionable little boy who loves action. He is always looking for a fight in his giant Robo-Dexter or against his rival, Mandark and when he isn't doing that or working in his lab, he is playing with his action figures or watching TV. You would be hard pressed to see Dexter outside unless he is doing some sort of experiment or fighting some sort of evil. But other than all that, Dexter spends all his time in his lab. Dexter is constantly working on something new and building on to the lab. So much in fact that he has some inventions he can't even remember making and there are parts of the lab he doesn't know anything about. Naturally, Dexter is the head of his class much to the dismay of his fellow students. Dexter is pretty much devoid of friends but he isn't really bothered by it. As long as he can work in his lab, Dexter lives on. Dee Dee - Dexter's older sister is a very happy and delightful girl. Being taller and older than Dexter gives her a sisterly edge. Dee Dee is one of the few who knows about Dexter's lab as she stumbled upon in when the both were younger. But Dexter does not need to worry about her spilling the secret as no one would believe her even if she did. Dee Dee lives in her own little world complete with unicorns, imaginary dragons, and talking ponies. Her room is a pink nightmare of stuffed animals and dolls that Dexter must avoid at all costs. So naturally, no one really takes her seriously. She is a dancer and a singer but insists on practicing in the lab and wreaking the place in the process. She also has some athletic skill in most sports. But behind it all, Dee Dee is actually a very caring sister who does truly love her little brother. Mom - Mom is a happy home maker who can't stand filth in any form. You will be hard pressed not to find her wearing her yellow gloves. She, like Dexter, wears them everywhere. Mom always has dinner on the table by the time Dad gets home and is always willing for a bit of "playing around" with her husband at anytime. She gets the kids on the bus in the morning and off in the evening. Just your standard work at home Mom who sits on the brink of insanity at times. Dexter seems to take after her with her hard work ethic and inability to stop once she starts. She works in the kitchen much like Dexter works in the lab and hates it when Dad drops in to bother her. Dad - Dad is the typical working man. He leaves in the morning for work and comes home in the evening for dinner. He loves sports and working with his tools. He is a handy man and handles most of the hard work around the house. He likes to mess around with his family, especially Dexter. He enjoys annoying his wife in the kitchen and giving her a playful little pinch in the butt. His constant attempts to get Dexter out of his room and into a uniform of some sort usually are forfeit. He is an outdoors man as well. He loves to fish and camp. Dad is a very laid-back guy. Dee Dee seems to take after Dad with his sports skill, his love of the outside, and his thrive at being annoying. Mandark - Mandark is Dexter's rival and he is totally evil. Mandark is on the same intellectual level as Dexter and has proved it many times. He also has his own lab in his room though it doesn't seem to be a secret as Dexter's. Mandark's lab is bigger and better than Dexter's and he never misses a chance to reminded Dexter of that fact. Mandark's #1 ambition is to shut down Dexter's lab thus making him the only genius around. Mandark is always looking for a way to outdo Dexter in anyway possible. Mandark also has a major crush on Dee Dee which is a point that Dexter exploits all the time. His parents are actually peace loving and hippies in a sense. He repents his parent's ways, but still is forced by them to do peaceful rituals when the time comes.
