Well now there is a very own show on our very own daily heroes such as a fire fighter, an operator or even a zoo keeper. Meet Eubie, Wayne, Twinkle, Kip, and Fran as they go out in life and try and become a Higglytown Hero. Becoming a Higglytown Hero takes a lot of work by showing great work to your community such as cleaning up leaves, picking up trash and other things too. Higglytown Heroes is for pre-school audiences and will be sure to get your son or daughter up and try and making a better life for themselves. Higglytown Heroes first aired on September 12, 2004. The colorful and realistic animation is beyond fabulous which gets kids hooked onto this new television series. Your child will love Higglytown Heroes no matter how old he or she is.
Higglytown HeroesCharacters... Kip- Kip loves to play outside and hang out with his best friends. Kip is the shortest of all the kids but isn't smaller than Fran. Kip is very nice and often lets his friends play with all of his toys and other things. Kip has a bigger than life attitude and always loves to have fun. Kip always wears blue and likes to spike his hair up, just like his dad. Eubie- Eubie a caring and loving pre-scholar to his community as he often helps out with things that other people have trouble with such as cleaning garbage up, making his bedroom spotless or anything that needs to be done. Eubie and his friends, Wayne, Twinkle, Kip and Fran will make your day. Eubie has blonde hair and is the largest and tallest of all of his friends. Eubie is surely to become a Higglytown Hero, someday. Wayne- Wayne is an African American, sometimes clumsy little boy. Wayne is the brother of Twinkle, he wears his glasses and green overalls where ever he goes. Wayne loves to help out his Mom with many things such as sweeping out the basement. Twinkle- Twinkle is true girl that loves glitter and sparkly things, she is the sister of Wayne. When Twinkle gets older she wants to become a ballerina so she can dance and put on shows for her friends and family. Twinkle is very kind and generous who usually has crazy ideas such as picking up her toys with a programmed robot machine without her doing a single thing. Twinkle is African-American who likes to wear her pink duck shirt and blouse around Higglytown which no one seems to care about. Fran- Fran is a red squirrel who always helps the kids out when they are in trouble. This squirrel is extremely bright and always thinks of great ideas to help the kids get through tough problems such as when Kip's Grandpa was stuck in the bathroom because the door was locked she told the kids to call "0" because they could reach an operator than ask the operator for Kip's mom's cell phone number so they could ask what they should do and where the key was to open the door.moreless

If you have a better scheme for the videos please contact the editor. Character Profiles The Wiggles Greg Wiggle Greg is the lead singer of The Wiggles, and if you just hear one singer in your favorite Wiggles song, he is the guy. His hobby is doing magic tricks. He can make things disappear, but it'd be once in blue moon if he ever succeeds in pulling a rabbit out of his hat! Instrument = Lead Vocalist. He also plays some guitar and keyboard. Shirt Color = Yellow Sam Wiggle In the Wiggle and Learn series, Sam is the new Yellow Wiggle. People might recognize him as a Wiggly Dancer and Professor Singalottasonga in the earlier series. Instrument = Lead Vocals, and sometimes the Trumpet. Shirt Color = Yellow Anthony Wiggle Anthony is one hungry Wiggle. His hobbies include eating and generally being silly. His appetite can get in the way at times. He usually sings and dances with Greg. In the newer seasons, he also loves to use a low bass voice and to roll his r's. Instrument = Drums. He also plays some guitar and some other instruments. Shirt Color = Blue Murray Wiggle The calmest guy in the band, Murray enjoys playing his red guitar, and is quite impressed by Greg and his magic. One time he even used Greg's magic properly! Murray also loves to speculate on different things in life, like what if we didn't have elbows. He also loves to play well known guitar riffs. Instrument = Red Guitar. Shirt Color = Red Jeff Wiggle Jeff is full of energy when he's awake, but he tends to fall asleep on the spot, and it takes the entire audience to shout "Wake up, Jeff!" It can be hard to keep him awake. In fact, he spent a whole episode asleep once! He may be the goofiest of them all. Instrument = Keyboard and Accordion. Shirt Color = Purple Emma Wiggle Emma is the first female wiggle and she loves to wear bows. She replaces Greg and Sam in the newer episodes. Instrument = Drums. Shirt Color = Yellow Simon Wiggle Simon replaces Murray in the newer episodes. He always sings in a low bass tone and plays a game called Simon Says. Instrument = Lead Vocals. Shirt Color = Red Lachy Wiggle Lachy is Jeff's replacement for newer episodes and still does everything Jeff does like sleeping. He sometimes sings when Simon's not singing. Instrument = Keyboard. Shirt Color = Purple Supporting Characters Captain Feathersword Often considered the Fifth Wiggle, Captain Feathersword is a friendly pirate who has a sword made out of feathers so he can tickle people. He's best known for doing improvisational acts and voices, thanks in part to his Magic Buttons on his vest. He greets everyone with "Ahoy There, Me Hearties!" Dorothy the Dinosaur Dorothy is a human-sized dinosaur who wears a floppy white hat, and loves daydreaming in her rose garden. She has loved roses since she was a young child. And not just to smell them, but she uses them to make rosy treats! She is also the only female among the main Wiggles group, and has an infectious giggle. In Australia, she even has her own TV show! Wags the Dog Wags is a cute dog about the size of the Wiggles. In the early seasons, he only speaks to the audience, and woofs for Captain Feathersword and the other Wiggles. But in the later seasons, he talks like everyone else. He's a very resourceful inventor, and he also likes to goof on Captain Feathersword, refusing to just obey. He's also in charge of the three little pups known as the Wagettes. Henry the Octopus Henry leads his own underwater band. He joins the Wiggles in a bunch of different songs and dances. In the early seasons, he is both a puppet and a mascot. His favorite word is "Bree-Boop!" which is like Aloha in Octopus language. Officer Beaples: She's dressed like a Keystone Kop, and mostly mimes. Wiggle Dancers: The men and women who dance around in marching band uniforms. They start appearing in the musical numbers from the Lights, Camera, Action, Wiggles season. Friendly Pirate Crew: The men and women who dance around and help Captain Feathersword during one of his featured skits. Many of the folks are Wiggle Dancers, but some are dedicated crew members representing a worldwide populace. Child Dancers: Since the show is all about the kids, many of the videos feature children dancing and participating in activities. About Playhouse Disney: This is the morning segment of the Disney Channel in the USA that's geared for pre-schoolers and toddlers. Because Disney is privately owned, they only air commercials for their own Disney shows and products, but during the Playhouse Disney segments, The Wiggles shows run about 25 minutes straight with NO commercials! Disney used to run the Wiggles at all sorts of morning hours seven days a week. In its prime, the Wiggles should show up from two to three episodes a day: 6am for Wiggly TV (series 1-2), 10am for The Wiggles Show and Lights, Camera, Action episodes (series 3-4), and 7am for the Breakfast with Bear segment. In series 5, The Wiggles ran at 7am weekdays, and a different time on weekend mornings. In series 6, the Wiggles ran at 7am weekdays and weekends but in January 5, 2009, the Wiggles ran at 11:30am weekdays and 7am weekends. Reruns can be found on PBS Sprout. Submission Guidelines Although the Wiggles guide may seem fairly complete, there are always plenty of fun things to add. Here's generally where things are categorized. Notes: - List of DVD Bonus Features, including Lights Camera Action Wiggles episodes. - Official original release dates for the Australia videos, US videos, and companion albums. Awards won. Differences between Australia and US version. - Novelties and debuts (set design, wardrobe, song, dancer) - consider chronological or Disney TV series order. - One-shot appearances by non-TV industry guests, lists of children and families, lists of dancers. - Family and Friends - whenever the Wiggles bring in their non-cast/crew family members (e.g. Anthony's wife, kids, or dogs), and friends into their videos and features. - Debuts in Australia, UK, or Canada if traceable. Trivia: - On-screen song and guest debuts by name, such as Murray introducing Clare, or Anthony introducing Alfonso. - Instrument details. Allusions: Passing references to pop culture icons like Elvis or The Beatles. For example, Racing to the Rainbow has a flurry of Elvis references, and the cover of Let's Eat is designed to look like Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts band. Australian regional sayings and jargon like "slippery dip", but do not add common ones like "G'day" or "Beauty, mate" or "barbie" Song arrangements not directly explained (e.g. Hands on My Head). Cast: If you are adding voiceovers for any of the mascots, for example: Wags the Dog (Mic Conway) Dorothy the Dinosaur (Carolyn Ferrie, Jacqueline Field, Zoe Velez) Henry the Octopus (Jeff Fatt, Paul Paddick, Mario Martinez-Diaz), please confirm they are the correct person in the season, and that the mascot actually said something in that episode. I count the dancers as Recurring Stars / Guest Stars if: 1) They are credited at the end of the show. 2) They participated in the skits, intros, or closers. I do not count the dancer if all they did was appear in the pre-produced video footage. DO NOT ADD - Nitpicking any time the Wiggles don't really play their instruments or lip sync. It is a given that sometimes they are more concerned about dancing and showing the actions rather than making an acoustically accurate performance. Save those goofs for only the major ones like showing two different guitars for the same concert song. - Self-evident crew credits like Music: The Wiggles (Band) or Creator: The Wiggles (Band) or Opening Performance: The Wiggles (Band). Look for explicitly listed credits like Musical Arrangement: Anthony Field instead. - Cast roles that should be listed in the credits (e.g. Kamahl guest stars as himself). - Special Guest Stars - add them as regular Guest Stars. - Dancers on replayed video footage. They did not participate in the video. - This is the second/third/fourth visit by guest star. It is self-evident from the credits that guests appear multiple times. - Anything from Wiggles Wikia. That site has way much too unverified information. - Any nitpicks on miscellaneous Wiggles songs that aren't featured in the TV series or videos. - Explanations on nursery rhymes or common pop culture. Common questions about the guide Q: What is with the titles for Lights, Camera, Action, Wiggles? How come they don't correspond to my videos? A: In the original Australian broadcast, the show was 54 episodes of 11 minutes each, and their titles were just Episode 1 to Episode 54. When it was broadcast in the US for Disney, they mainly combined 2 episodes into one, and posted their own 3 digit production numbers. There are NO official titles for the US version. The titles here are arbitrarily written by the editor to best reflect the theme of the combined episode. Q: Can I add a Wiggles video to a guide? A: Yes, Just let me know in advance and I can give you an episode number of where it should fit in. I am not accepting 2-pack releases as new entries, but you can make a Note of such things if they are important. Q: Why is Series Two listed first? A: Although Series Two was produced after Series One, it aired on Disney channel before Series One. Q: What about Wiggly Waffle? A: Wiggly Waffle, while it has new videos, is not an actual TV series, but The Wiggles hosting a block of various shows. If you want Wiggly Waffle on tv.com, you could send in a request for a new show, but my opinion is that it is a very difficult series to maintain. Q: What about other Wiggles produced shows? A: Dorothy the Dinosaur Show from the late 2000s has a guide now. If you want Kingdom of Paramithi, send a request to add the show on tv.com. Q: Why are the episode names and numbers for Season 4, 5 and 6 different than the ones from the boxsets and Australian iTunes? A: The names are from when they aired on Disney. Australia used different names and aired in production order.moreless

    The WB (ended 2000)
"Superman" was an animated series that premiered on September 6, 1996. Created to follow the success of "Batman: The Animated Series," and based on the popular Superman comics created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, the cartoon series focused on the adventures of Superman, an incredibly powerful crime fighter from the planet Krypton, who defends Metropolis from a variety of supercriminals that include Lex Luthor, Brainiac, Metallo, The Parasite, Livewire, The Toyman, Mr. Mxyzptlk, Bizarro, Darkseid, Lobo, Jax-Ur, and Mala. Superman's secret identity is that of Clark Kent, a mild-mannered reporter for the newspaper "The Daily Planet". There he worked with fellow reporter Lois Lane and photographer Jimmy Olsen.

The series opened with an hour and a half long special that featured the exploits of Superman's Kryptonian father, Jor-El, who was attempting to save their planet from a world-wide catastrophe which the planet's artificial intelligence system, Brainiac, was trying to cover up, and continued through Superman's first public appearance in Metropolis. In later seasons, the show featured guest appearances by a variety of other famous comic book heroes including Supergirl, Batman, Robin, The Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman, Dr. Fate, Steel, and The New Gods. In 1997, episodes of "Superman" were broadcast alongside episodes of "The New Batman Adventures" and reruns of "Batman: the Animated Series" under the title "The New Batman/Superman Adventures".moreless

The Teletubbies started in the U.K. and proved to be a popular children's show. In April 1998, the U.S.A. picked up the Teletubbies on PBS, and proved to be popular with American children too. Teletubbies is a show about creatures known as Teletubbies (so called because they're tubby, and have TV screens in their stomachs). The Teletubbies live in Teletubbyland, and faraway place inhabited by only the Teletubbies, talking flowers, talking trumpets, a baby sun, the Noo-Noo, a bunch of rabbits, and the narrator. There house is known as "The Tubby-Tronic Superdome", and has everything they need, four beds, a tubby-toast maker, a tubby-custard makers, and a slide used as an alternate entrance. In the middle of their dome, they have a panel of switches and buttons and their tubby sponges which they use to bathe themselves. Each day, the Teletubbies discover new things together, watch videos on their tubby-screens, and have fun together. In Teletubbyland, there's a large windmill, and when it spins pink dust, it let's the teletubbies know that something magical is about to happen. The Teletubbies were developed in U.K. by Ragdoll and BBC. Characters Tinky-Winky The largest of the four teletubbies. He is purple, and has a triangle antenna (because of these features, critics assume he is gay, but rest assure, he isn't, he may be a tom-girl, but he's not gay.) His favorite thing is his hand-bag which he can amazingly fit large things in. His best friends are Dipsy and Po. He may be large, but he's quiet and gentle. His song is "Tinkle-Winkle, Tinky-Winky" Dipsy The second largest teletubby. He is green with a dipstick antenna. His favorite thing is his black and white tie-dye top hat. His best friends are Tinky-Winky and Laa-Laa. He's more of a loner teletubby, and doesn't like "cute" stuff. His song has a reggae beat. Laa-Laa The second smallest teletubby. She is yellow, with a spiral antenna. Her favorite thing his her giant orange ball that she seems to have no control of. Her best friends are all of the teletubbies. She has a free-spirit and can always find away to enjoy things, her favorite word is "nice." Her song is "La la la la la la la la." Po The smallest teletubby. She is red, with an "O" shaped antenna. Her favorite thing is her red and blue scooter which she can ride at an alarming speed. Her best friends are Tinky-Winky and Laa-Laa. She is very quiet and usually shy, but loves to go fast. Her song is "Fidy Fidy, Mar Mar Mar" Noo-Noo The Teletubbie's vacuum cleaner that can suck up anything in his path, even things twice his size. He lives inside the Tubby-tronic Superdome. Trumpets Trumpets that come out of the ground and sing songs or recite poems for the Teletubbies to enjoy. Baby Sun A sun with a baby's face in it. Narrator Basically tells the story, or what the Teletubbies "what to do". Show Secrets -The teletubbies in real-life are huge, the costumes can reach up to 10 feet! -After ten minutes, the actors have to remove the Teletubby heads from their costumes due to carbon dioxide build up. -Nikki Smedley landed the part of Laa-Laa when she was make-believing she was a table at the audition. -The Noo-Noo is operated by a small man inside him. Alot of people have been saying that Teletubbies is teaching their kids to be gay. That is a lie. Teletubbies is a show for kids to have fun.
