    Bravo (ended 2007)
Queer Eye is an Emmy award-winning American reality television series that premiered on the Bravo cable television network on July 15, 2003. The program's name was changed from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy after the third season to broaden the scope of its content. The series was created by openly gay executive producer David Collins and his straight producing partner David Metzler, and produced by their production company, Scout Productions. The show is premised on and plays with the stereotypes that gay men are superior in matters of fashion, style, personal grooming, interior design, and culture. In each episode, the team of five gay men known collectively as the "Fab Five" perform a makeover (in the parlance of the show, a "make-better") on a person, usually a straight man, revamping his wardrobe, redecorating his home, and offering advice on grooming, lifestyle, and food. Queer Eye for the Straight Guy debuted in 2003 and quickly became both a surprise hit and one of the most talked-about television programs of 2003. The success of the show led to merchandising, franchising of the concept internationally, and a woman-oriented spin-off, Queer Eye for the Straight Girl. The show's name was shortened to Queer Eye at the beginning of its third season to reflect the show's change in direction from making over only straight men to including women and gays. Queer Eye ended production in June 2006 and the final 10 episodes aired in October 2007. The series ended October 30. The "Fab Five" in the show, consist of: Ted Allen: "Food and Wine Connoisseur", expert on alcohol, beverages, food preparation, and presentation Kyan Douglas: "Grooming Guru", expert on hair, grooming, personal hygiene, and makeup Thom Filicia: "Design Doctor", expert on interior design and home organization Carson Kressley: "Fashion Savant", expert on clothing, fashion, and personal styling Jai Rodriguez: "Culture Vulture", expert on popular culture, relationships, and social interactionmoreless

    E! (ended 2007)
The Simple Life is a totally unscripted series starring everyone's favorite spoiled socialites, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie!

The show's first 3 seasons were shown on FOX. But seasons 4 and 5 are now on E! with reruns of the first 3 seasons.

During the shows first season, Paris and Nicole got a reality check when they learned what it was really like to live among the middle-as they moved from their posh Beverly Hills pads to the small town of Altus, Arkansas (population 817) for a one-month stay.

Paris and Nicole were horribly inept at their jobs, which were the first they had ever had-including gigs at a dairy farm and a fast-food joint. But pretty soon they were up to their old tricks, picking up guys and causing mischief along the way, all in an effort to spice up the lives of their small town family and to win the hearts of the town's simple, kind-hearted residents. In the end, the girls survived the challenge, and most certainly served to prove that you can take the girl out of the city, but you can't take the city out of the girl!

During The Simple Life 2: Road Trip the outrageous Hilton and Richie were again stripped of their cell phones, cash and credit cards and set off on a trip across country in their hot pink pick-up and air stream trailer. Departing from Miami Beach, FL, and ending up in Beverly Hills, CA, the girls had to navigate their way through a wild ride full of new jobs, host families, and small towns across the southern U.S.

Now, the girls are back once again and are ready for their next challenge in The Simple Life 3: Interns.(Nicole Richie's final season) This time around, the girls will travel throughout the Northeast United States via Greyhound bus while visiting families and taking on an assortment of odd jobs from zoo keeping to Burger King. They will intern at a job for two days, on the second day they will be graded on their behavior and performance, from an A to an F (The girls' average score) If they complete the job as directed they each receive $100.00 (the managers deduct sometime... They even get fired! The girls stay with families each week and usually contribute by cooking a home cooked meal or preparing a sexy birthday night! This season the girls are really put to the test!

    Theme Song Lyrics

Let's take two girls, both filthy rich (Voice in the background: Hey isn't that Paris Hilton?) From the bright lights, Down to the sticks. From velvet ropes, To cattle pulls.(To workin' folks SL3) Let's take away their limousines, Their credit cards, and shoppin' sprees Well they're both spoilt rotten Will they cry when they hit bottom? Heaven knows who can survive This simple(Country, Road Trip, Intern, Living, Campers)kind of life (Paris: Where the hell are we?)moreless

Now living with their their stepfather (Foster) and their mother, the boys use David's property whenever they feel like it, and do many things - some unintential, most otherwise - to annoy David. Although their mother, Linda, thinks her sons can do no wrong, David forces the freeloaders pay rent in order to continue living in his 22-acre mansion, Casablanca. To get the money, Brandon and Brody do all sorts of things, including washing cars, creating a drive-in movie theater on David's front lawn, and working at Target. Oh, the life of luxury is gone for the brothers - and a life of sanity is slowly going away for David Foster. The Princes of Malibu debuted in July on the Fox network, but was later yanked off of the schedule due to low ratings before the third episode aired. The remaining four episodes will be aired on The Fox Reality Network starting the weekend of July 31st. The series is executive produced by Gary R.
