By the year 2104, mankind has spread among the stars. Fort Hope, on the planet Avalon, is one of the far-flung outposts of trade and diplomacy. Maintaining order on the wild, new frontier is the responsibility of the Space Rangers. Fort Hope's best Ranger team is commanded by Captain John Boon. His pilot is Jojo Thorsen, a lithe, tough blonde from the planet of New Venus, where no men live. The flight engineer is Doc, who has been wounded so many times that much of his body – including his heart – has been replaced by artificial parts. Zylyn is a missionary from the Grakka, a race of fierce warriors who have renounced their old ways to embrace peace, but still continually battle their buried emotions. And the newest member of the team, Daniel Kincaid, a general's son who's quick on the draw but still wet behind the ears. The team flies into action in Ranger Slingship 377, the Lizzy. The commander of Fort Hope is Commander Chennault, backed by Colonel Weiss, who would rather be back in civilization in Central Command. Due to low ratings, this midseason replacement was cancelled after four episodes were aired on CBS. The two filmed but unaired episodes were later shown in Australia before all six episodes were eventually released on Region 2 (UK) and Region 4 (Australia) DVD sets.moreless

Welcome to the Project Geeker guide at TV.com. Welcome to the FABULOUS WORLD OF TOMORROW!

Welcome to overcrowding! Pollution! Crime! Five hundred home shopping channels! Yes, you heard right. It's worse than you ever imagined. FIVE HUNDRED HOME SHOPPING CHANNELS. The human mind cannot bear such untrammeled terror.

In the future, there are two simple rules to remember:

    NO SPITTING.

    DON'T CROSS MISTER MOLOCH.

Mister Moloch is the CEO of Moloch Industries, the giga-corporation which owns and operates most of the Earth (not to mention the moon, mars, and most of the more upscale parts of the asteroid belt). Moloch is one small step from world domination. And that's a step he's eager to take.

In order to achieve his goal of total conquest, Moloch initiated Project GKR (Geno-Kinetic Research). Helmed by the brilliant but unstable Doctor Maston, the aim of Project GKR was to create the perfect corporate warrior; an artificial human with fantastic powers, whom Moloch could use to crush all who opposed him.

Project GKR succeeded beyond Moloch's wildest dreams, resulting in a synthetic man - known as "Geeker" - with complete control over his own molecular structure. Geeker had power enough to destroy the world... or conquer it, for Moloch.

But before Geeker could receive the programming which would enable him to control his powers and make him a slave to Moloch's will, he was stolen by a streetwise thief named Lady MacBeth, who was aided by an intelligent dinosaur named Noah. Lady MacBeth and Noah thought they were stealing a device they could sell on the black market. But when they opened the canister they had stolen, instead of some new high-tech weapon, they found Geeker.

Without his final programming, Geeker was innocent and childlike; possessing fantastic powers but largely unable to control them. Noah and Lady MacBeth - whom Geeker promptly nicknamed "Becky" - realized they had something incredibly valuable on their hands. But they also realized that neither of them were hard-hearted enough to sell a human being.

It was clear that Moloch meant to use Geeker to destroy anyone standing between him and world conquest - probably starting with Becky and Noah. Moloch would stop at nothing to get Geeker back. Becky and Noah had no choice but to keep Moloch from capturing Geeker at all costs.

Now Geeker, Becky and Noah are on the run from Moloch. They ought to be doomed, really, just the three of them against the awesome forces of Moloch Industries. But soon, Moloch will learn the truth of that old saying:

THE GEEK SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH.

"Black holes and Quasars" ...Watt On Earth was a short lived children's series as part of 'Children's BBC' and written by the 'Doctor Who' writers Jane & Pip Baker. The show starred 'Watt' (Garth Napier Jones) as an alien who came to earth to escape his evil uncle. Watt was heir to the throne on his planet and his uncle even sent his top henchman 'Jemjemah' to follow Watt to earth and terminate him. Watt landed in the English town on Haxton and be-friended 'Shaun Ruddock' (Tom Brodie) who managed to keep Watt's presence in the house a secret throughout the whole shows run. Shaun's parents ran the local newspaper the Haxton weekly and think their son is a bit of a oddball. Watt was over 300 years of age but in his human form looked early 20's. He also hadn't mastered his alien powers for starters he had back to front ears (Series 1) and upon his return to Haxton (Series 2) failed again this time the ears came out Green. He also had to ability to transanimateobjectify?? = turn himself into animate objects, but he could never get it right Eg, A clock that ran back-wards or square golf ball. That's what drove the comedy along his odd tastes in earth food. Eg Ketchup and corn flakes or Dog food and whipped cream on toast. The show ran for 2 series of 12 episodes and has always remained in my head. I had about 20 of the episodes on tape for donkeys years but wiped them several years back. Therefore Ive done a few web searches but a lot of this information is from memory so I deserve points for that don't I LOL...moreless

Excel Saga is pretty much an anime for otaku, or people who are otherwise well-versed in anime films and series. Adapted from the gag manga by Koshi Rikdo, it (sorta) tells the story of Excel Excel, an overly-energetic young woman working as a secret agent for the Secret Ideological Organization ACROSS, under the somewhat eccentric evil-overlord wanabee Lord Ilpalazzo. With her partner Hyatt, a soft spoken young lady who has a habit of fainting or even dropping dead, then spontaneously coming back to life, and her pet dog/emergency food supply Menchi in tow, Excel bungles and blunders her way through episode after episode full of pop culture references from both Japan and the United States. Somewhere in the mix is Excel's next-door-neighbor Watanabe and his roommates Iwata and Sumiyoshi, the mysterious action hero Nabeshin (avatar of the show's director), a band of impossibly (and deceptively) cute aliens called the Puchuu, and a whole host of other crazy characters who do little, if anything, to advance what passes for a story.moreless
