Cosmic Journey is a science show on SpaceRip TV that explores the galactic makeup of the universe. The show sets out to answer some of the most basic of human questions in a vast and relatively unexplored area of knowledge Ð the Òfinal frontier.Ó The series starts with trying to answer where the universe came from and tries, by the finale, to answer where it will endÉ if at all. From destructive asteroids to what theoretically might be on the other side of a black hole, Cosmic Journey is just that Ð a journey into the universe in its entirety and our human place within it. The program leaves you wondering if we really are the single most important thing floating around on our space rock called earth? The show does a fantastic job of putting the human races' role in perspective and gives us a sneak peak into the connection of our origins with the scientific universe. Cosmic Journey is a voyage through space and time. It is a trip of mass proportions that takes us beyond the unknown and back again.moreless

Our Vanishing Wilderness is a nature documentary TV series developed for PBS based on the hybrid book developed by Shelly and Mary Louise Grossman that delves into some of the more devastating issues affecting America's wildlife. Considered one of the first environmental TV series in the United States, Our Vanishing Wilderness brings light to not only the negative relationships between people and the land they live on but also some of the positive. In 'The Prairie Killers', watch as their cameras capture the destruction of the Great Plains as ranchers continue to strike down the wilderness in an unnecessary push to protect their livestock and livelihood. In 'Santa Barbara ' Everybody's Mistake', learn of the 1969 oil leak that led to the destruction of the local habitat and safety of every thing near by in Santa Barbara as the blame is thrown around between oil companies, the government, scientific groups, and the people of the area. In 'Of Broccoli and Pelicans and Celery and Seals', look at the effect of pesticides on the food chain in how animals are affected by the additives to vegetation and the ground water. Our Vanishing Wilderness was considered a 'worthwhile expose on the environment' by Time Magazine and shows that even before Earth Day, the concern was there.moreless
