Ultimate Match Fishing is the Outdoor Channel coverage of the single-elimination invitational tournament that features some of the best anglers in the world, with an unusual catch. These anglers will be fighting for the biggest bass catches, while fishing in the same boat. Following most of the standard rules of B.A.S.S. and FLW tournaments, the matches are broken up into four 90-minute periods, and the competitors rotate spots on the boat at the end of every quarter. The anglers flip a coin to decide who starts the match in control of the boat, and the 12 angler field is divided into 6 head to head matches in the first round, with 6 winners moving on to the quarterfinals. Hosted by emcee Joe Thomas and analyst Claude "Fish" Fishburne, the series shows anglers like David Dudley, Mike Wurm, Greg Hackney, Luke Clausen and more fighting for the cash prize and UMF bragging rights. In 2010 they added another twist, with the addition of an amateur angler who is given a shot at the big show. Tune in for exciting bass fishing action with a twist in Outdoor Channel's Ultimate Match Fishing.moreless
